I love tattoos.  I for one think they are sexy.  But, I do know that a lot of customers do not.  Especially the more mature audience 45 and older crowd. But, it is your body and if you like it go for it.  I know an awesome guy who does tats in Buckhead if you want to look at his work email me and I'll tell you his info.  He's bad ass in my book.

Agree - Don't really like them and everything else being equal will prefer natural beauty over someone's idea of art which never seems to match mine. But I don't dismiss gals with tats outright either. Of course, this might be a generational preference and I belong to the generation that tried to express themselves with long hair.

I agree with Whodat; but some of the ladies I really love have tattoos, and one on my to-do list is painted like a canvass.  But I think it hurts a lady's marketability if she wants to break into the high dollar sky club-- you know, the type of girl Elliott Spitzer prefers.

I saw those arrows painted on the streets of ancient Pompeii, pointing the way to the brothels-- except they used penises as arrows; don't recall any "enter at the rear" signs though.  Apparently the hobby is thousands of years old.

As someone approaching the older crowd, I think it's very sexy.  Personally, lots of tattoos and piercings on a hot body really gets me going.  I've even looked for providers like that, but they are very few and far between.

This was actually my second question (in addition to visiting ladies with no review).  Why do most ladies with tattoos photoshop them out in their ads?  Personally, I'm not a fan but to each their own.

They want to tell you its for privacy reasons.   Yea right.  Its cause they know a lot of Johns don't l ike them.  In fact should some of the prettiest girls cover them because if hey didn't it would stop lots of us from calling them.  You should be honest ladies.

Girl, if you want to lead an alternative lifestyle, GO FOR IT! You can always market yourself more alternative and be a SG if you want. There are so many men that might not care for them but they'll either overlook it or miss out on someone that could be the most delightful person they've ever met! Personally, I have quite a few that are very tastefully done, and if someone bitches about them, they don't really deserve to be a part of my life, no matter how small, because that work is a very integral part of who I am.  

Tattoos are usually VERY unique and easily identifiable. I've personally been outed as a result of someone finding an ad with photos that didn't have my work shopped out and THAT was a mess to clean up that I am not trying to repeat.  

As much as I'd love to show my ink in my photos, it would be hugely risky in terms of privacy. I always use this as an example: let's say one of my brothers stumbled upon my website. If my tattoos were visible, I'd have ZERO plausible deniability if confronted with it. It's virtually impossible from a statistical standpoint that there would be another 24-year-old, 5'1" blonde in the greater Cincinnati area with a tattoo of x on body part A, y on body part B, etc.  

I have disclaimers all over my ads/website in bold print stating that I'm heavily tattooed. Not once have I had a client be unaware of them prior to a date. Don't undermine our right to privacy and safety by suggesting that we're all dishonest.
