Switch & bait

Guess I'm considered a newbie.  Started this great hobby of mine a year ago and had fun, and stumbled upon this site by accident last week.  Great site.  Question:  What do you guys do, or what would be considered proper ettiquite, if your escort isn't as appears in pics or description.  This is one of my greatest concerns.  It hasn't happened to me yet.  Of course some pics are aged and women change hair styles but all in all things have been as expected.  What do you do? Leave? Grin and bear it?  Give her $20 gas money?  After all, it could be considered desciptive advertizing.

Do all you can before you meet to make sure she is what you want.  I have never had it happen, but if I met with someone that was not who I expected, I would be gone.  I would also make sure I was right in fairness to her.  If you went to test drive a Porsche at the dealership, and they brought you and Edsel (apologies to Edsel fans), would you take it?  I wish you luck.

Although I try to keep my pictures current and give an accurate description over the phone and on my website, I have had a few instances in the past when someone just did not feel comfortable with me.... although I can't imagine why.  The only thing that I ever request is a $50 cancellation fee and I go on my merry way if it's an outcall.... on incall, I've never had it happen.

I do, however, believe that if the girl that meets with you is not the girl advertised, then you have EVERY right to be angry or upset!!!!!  If I were a hobbyist, I wouldn't give a girl anything if she tried to deceive me!  That's the risk that she takes if she's going to send another girl or if she does not give you at least a semi-accurate description.

Play Nice!!!

I concur completely with everything. Although there should be no cancellation fee at all.....whether it's incall or outcall. If the provider decides to take the risk of not being who she advertises , then she should be willing to accept the circumstances of her deception. Period. End of story.

As I stated earlier: I totally agree that if a girl is deceptive, then she doesn't get anything.... PERIOD!!!

If it is truly bait & switch (the girl is clearly not the one you ordered) then I would say absolutely don't pay anything and send her packing... agencies need to be taught not to engage in deceptive practices.

Now the bigger problem is the case of a provider simply not looking as "good" as her photos... glamor photography and the right pose can make almost anyone look good, afterall. If the different appearance is "honest" and you decide to cancel, I'd say a cancellation fee is in order, maybe $50 or so (she has likely spent at least an hour or so prepping and/or getting to your location in the case of outcall)... this will also remind you to do more due diligence in future. If the appearance is "dishonest" (ie. several year old photos, or photos taken 30 pounds ago) I'd say again pay nothing, this is just deception.

Another tricky case is when services are not as advertised, such as an "escort" who turns out to not be FS (she should advertise as b2b or massage), a provider advertising "all languages" and skimping on, say, the greek, etc... the problem here is that this is usually discovered after the fact. In such a case, I'd say obviously you should pay the base fee, but adjust tip accordingly.

"Hobbying" is interesting in that, unlike mainstream retail, it is the provider "doing the favor" for the customer by allowing him to purchase her services, not the other way around; it is an assymetry which kind of kills consumer-driven quality control and undermines customer service... it would be interesting to study how these review boards have alleviated this discrepancy.

O.

I think this post deserves an applaud on both form and content.

i have a bigger problem with deceptive provider profiles that the support staff should try to continually adjust is providers begin offering more or less services as described in their profiles.my 2 cents.

You can help in this process by using the problem report feature.  I have gained over two weeks of access through these.

IMHO, if it is obvious that the pictures were posted to deceive, then walk. IF....and I say IF, they are old pictures...then do as you see fit.
