My Sony 5 disk CD system broke and I'm looking for a suround sound system for my great room. My 1985 Kenwood system seems to be in good shape otherwise.

I need someone who is electronicly educated and can recommend something to me and where to buy???

Hey Corey, If you can wait to after Christmas goto a Circuit City. They sell returns as "open box". You can get some very high quality equipment for a fraction of the price. Ussually a week or so after most circuit cities are stuffed with these open box deals.
