Hals and Chops are my favorites. If you like Lobster Bisque, Chops, IMO has the best in the city. If your a smoker, Hals has two floors, the 1st for non-smokers, the 2nd for smokers. The Buckhead dinner is great for brunch, and if you like blue cheese try the Maytag chips.

Hello all

In Atlanta (north of the city) this week and am looking for advice on the better restaurants and nightlife.

Any great steakhouses not to be missed? What about seafood? Best pubs or bars?

Any input is appreciated

excellent also.  If you are in the Roswell/Sandy Springs area two of the northside top ten on Open Table are within half a mile of each other:  Seed and Drift.  Both are superb.

On how far north of Atlanta you are: in Alpharetta there's Atlantic Seafood, excellent place. Or for steak, go to Pampas and order the Brick. You're welcome.

If you want an interesting place to walk around and stare at beauties, go to Avalon.Decent bars/Restaurant scene too especially El Felix and Antico

I will spend all my free time eating, lol, during this trip.
Steak is my favorite ....so Bones, might be first on the list.

So you enjoy a nice piece of meat...my kinda lady!

Ted’s Montana Grill. Great steaks!

Been to Ted's....very good food!
I am a creature of habit, so I am going to make myself try different places :)

Never forget being in the elevator of the Waldorf Astoria Towers with Ted Turner.
He was playing with a slinky, we had both had a few to drink, but not together. ;)
