Do people  actually communicate through  the PM

It’s not a frequent occurrence, but it’s useful from time to time. I’ve used pm to communicate either providers and other TER members.

I used the PM on here a lot, a long time ago. I've not had a full membership in quite some time due to personal life. I have received a message recently, but alas I cannot view it!

I always prefer to initiate contact with a provider on PM so she can see something about me, regardless of whether communication continues on email or text...epecially helpful when I'm traveling. Some providers still look at whitelists as a factor in screening...

Mostly with other hobbiests, sometimes to introduce myself to providers I havent met
