Famous phrase when a disappointment such as nsnc appt or really bad session.

But what does it really mean?

50 bucks off next appt?  Free session ( only once but it happened)?  She will actually show up next time?

After reading roanoak post below and hearing that phrase from a regular companion last nite who had to cancel because her family stayed longer than expect, I had to wonder what general opinion was to meeting.

Not even focusing on the hobby, I think in business in general after a mishap from one party the "making up" should consist of some sort of added value to the exchange...not just status quo.  So in the hobby I feel it should, and generally does, mean either some sort of lower rate or added time/services.  I think it would be a cop out if it's just a vow to work extra hard during the next meeting.

I have had that promise to me three times.  Once it resulted in a free and extended session(with an ATF), once it resulted in about 50% off the session, and once it resulted in an extra half hour to the session.

I'm sure the providers would disagree with me, but I don't feel that extra time is much of a compensation.  Unless it's a high volume provider, she's probably not giving up any revenue for the extra half hour.  And I'm pretty well spent within the first hour anyway.

The only experience I have with that phrase was a NCNS provider last year. She made that statement and offered a discount on our next session. I scheduled the next session and, guess what? She was a NCNS again. Needless to say, I have not been in touch with her since.

the field (of your fellow hobbyists) and share the name of this NCNS provider with us (assuming you haven't done so already)?

You can show roanoke1979 how it's done.

My best one was seeing a certain beautiful woman (now retired unfortunately) for the first time - we misunderstood the time, she was thinking a shorter time than I was - told me time was up and she had to be somewhere, then realized I had been thinking a longer time - nobody was right nobody was wrong, just a miscommunication - she said I could come back anytime for a free appt - then, while I was in the shower, she realized I'd paid for the longer time and actually took the extra money out of the envelope and wanted to hand it back to me while I was getting dressed.  Way way more than needed in terms of "making it up next time" - I let her hand back the excess donation, but insisted on paying the normal amount next time, and believe me you there was a next time . . . and a next . . . .

Amazing woman ....

she will work harder to show up next time. If she is a habitual NCNS girl, don't expect much.

I try to treat ladies the way I need or want to be treated.  Given my travel schedules and dependencies on clients, airlines, and weather, I am perhaps more tolerant, especially with ladies or groups I have a long term relationship with.  First visits have much tighter tolerance.

For instance:
+\- 30 minutes. Treat as on time.  These are women after all
One hour late may deduct one point depending on communication.
Two to four hours late ( yep I have taken an appt that late). If I agree to appt no foul, maybe one point penalty on session.  If you communicate, I have right to cancel but probably not a nsnc.  With no communication, it is a nsnc.

Cancellation one to hour in advance, I am probably agitated but if I can find a replacement, no foul.  If late enough that no replacement avaiable we need an accommodation for later visit.

Cancellations more than two hours in advance, no foul, I have time to make other plans.

I try to live by same arrangements and obligations to the lady.  Longer term relationships really help treating each other with respect.

so complicated?

People should just call and keep the other parties updated if they're running late or not bothering to show up for an appointment. It's basic respect and common decency.

How hard is it for people to dial a number on a phone? We're not talking brain surgery here.

Am I right, roanoke1979? Or should we ask AXA?

I think you have A VERY GOOD "SYSTEM" and I think it's very fair...mmmm...I wonder if there is a way to standarize it amongst Atlanta ladies/hobbyists??? That would be really nice!

I've been told that and have recieved free sessions, discounts, and extended time. It all depends on your relationship and her perception of how valuable you are to her. All of these perks were given to me by ladies I had been seeing for a while.
