After someone kissed me on the lips, i realized she had a cold soar  on her lips. After i found out, i rinsed my mouth out with sop and water (antibacterial soap). Think I'll be ok?

Don't you mean SORE? I'd be more worried if she also gave you BBBJCIM

You should wash your mouth out with hyrdogen peroxide...much better than soap and water...

It depends. If it was a dry scab then no. If it was an oozing wet sore then yes.

The truth is,  most people have herpes.  You may already have herpes and just not know it.  The numbers are extremely high.  You might pop out a little bump on the lip one day,  but it would be short sighted to point the finger at that one encounter.  You,  as well as everyone else, has had countless encounters with the virus without knowing it.  Are you ok?  mmm doesn't really matter.
Good luck

It is more available than you would think.... almost all (repuatable and knowledgable) providers keep the little brown bottle available just as a safety pre-caution. As for a concern, BBBJ would be more of a concern than a kiss. But only if the  "cold sore" was a  specific stran of a specific virus. The odds are in your favor and don't panic. Most people get common cold sores and completly dismiss even how they developed it. My guess is your provider probably isn't herpes positive or she  would have informed you. Most reputable providers do have standards and would not jeopardise a client.

Me thinks that you don't have much to worry about, but if you are a regular in the hobby, let your decisions about what you do be guided by your big brain rather than the little pup. In this way, you can rest assured that you at least made the choice rather than blame alcohol or someother spirit such as a hard dick for getting you in this conundrum in the first place. But then again, I could be absolutely wrong and in that case, I will plead the 5th or should I say, "drink a fitth." Cheers, young man, hell is only half full and most of us are going with you.

Yea, the scab felt dry. This was also not just a "provider" so to speak. It was at an AMP.

I would look into get a series of Bio-Cleanse treatments it kills everything that can only survive in an oxygen deprived  enviroment (virus/fungus/blech). Most Chiropractors have the machine .  Look into it http://www.biocleanse.info/use.html#
There is a "new" naturopathic field of thought that AID's and other STD's are started by parasites in the blood.
I say shove oxygen into any parasites diet and it perish's.
What do you say OXYGEN.............. 8=P
