my guess is that people have different needs.  Some may prefer "getting off" as often as they can (low cost high volume).  Others may want a "higher quality" experience less often.  

My needs tend to the higher quality experience.  I enjoy the conversation, passion and GREAT SEX with a woman.  

No knock on other people with different needs.

But I cannot resist looking at naked woman when I have time.  Every time I see an attractive woman there, the little head pushes me to think that maybe I found a diamond in the rough and I research until I verify that she is probably TGTBT and will have the qualities you describe.

I am in a minority, but I have a higher comfort level with someone who screens than does not.  I think if you do not screen, you have a pimp outside the door or on drugs needing a quick fix.  The legal and personal safety issue are too great, you have to be bat sh!t crazy not to screen.  IMHO

Totally depends on my appetite at the moment.  Sometimes I like the hunt at BP, and every once in a while I strike gold and find someone at $200 who is really a much higher quality provider, kind of like finding that little unknown start-up restaurant that's really good, and then becomes popular and charges more later.  SweetAshley, for me, fits the latter case - I enjoyed the heck out of her at $200, but now she charges $400 and I do not see her.  Other times, I just want a quick pop just to get it over with (McDonald's restaurant), so a $100 - $150 price tag at BP makes sense - Tiny is a good example, cheap and good for a quick hard bang.  Occasionally, I want four star dining (the Quinones room at Bacchanalia restaurant) just to treat myself to a leisurely eight course meal complete with wine pairings, and I will go with Brooklyn at $350 and, if I really want to splurge, Meagan at $600.  It's ALL good depending on my appetite at the time.

I know no one wants to admit to being a BP user -- such a lower life-form, but as one of those guys let me make a couple comments....

First of all, every point CC made is very valid -- I have asked myself those very questions many times.

Don't dismiss the fact that some of us have a more limited hobby budget than others, and that saving may take us longer than we like. You know that us guys do not always think rationally when we have a sudden urge for companionship -- and if I have not been saving up for the best, I may choose to "settle". One area I do not "settle" on is the area of research -- I will only see a lady if she has reviews (and 2's and 4's are not acceptable). But even then, sometimes things don't work out --- imagine that -- some reviews don't seem to be accurate. Which, when that happens, makes me ask the very same questions that you did --- again.

There is one other aspect of the $100 lady -- the quest for the diamond in the rough. Sometimes I find a lady who is just starting out, who is charging less, but will grow into an exceptional provider, charging much more. I have had the pleasure of meeting with at least 3 of the ladies who post here regularly (or at least read these boards regularly), as $300 providers, when they were charging a mere $100. Those experiences don't happen often enough, but there is always that dream.

Finally, CC, you are absolutely right, but sometimes I can't help myself.

Been around for a long time, thought I would weigh in with my perspective.

BP and craigslist before it, absolutely has a significant amount of trash - of all varieties. However, I have to say that I have had some of the best experiences with girls who advertise there. As a previous poster mentioned, some girls get their starts there and subsequently move on to better and more expensive vehicles, some stay on BP for ever.

Ashley, Kimmie, Nikki, Krystalskisses, Heather are just a few that were or still are in the $150-$200 range and advertise on BP.

As well as that, there are a lot of girls ithat are in the $100 range For quickies that are absolute gems. I know there are a lot of guys on this board that frown on the quickies - you get what you pay for, how can you get to know a girl, you can't relax etc. The are a lot of providers on this board that are very vocal against quickies - allegedly for the same reasons, but my suspicion is they are really concerned about diluting their own value in the market and try hard to avoid having to offer them.

Regardless, I often go for the quicky for a couple of reason - time, money and most often of I am seeing a girl for the first time. I also have no desire to form a relationship with a girl outside of the physical one, i know that lots of guys heree do and thats just fine, but not my scene. My experience - almost 100% of the time - is that whatever experience you get from a girl in 15 or 20 minutes will be reflective of a longer experience. I've had boggy end of the spectrum good and bad and it almost always is true.

So BP definitely has a place, if you check my reviews, lots of them are from BP and very few are 2 or 4s. You just have to do some homework - google the phone number, check reviews here and other sites, are the pictures fake? (not limited to just BP) - a little research can yield huge finds there.

I am sure that this viewpoint will bring out the agency "owners" and aliases flaming me mercilessly - if and when they do, bear in mind my comment above - if BP rates wee the market norm, they would have to come down to that and they have an interest in slamming BP - and the guys that use it - to protect their price points.

There is and always has been a varied market for adult companionship.  Even people who make minimum wage are in the market.  That's why there are Street Walkers, ladies who advertise on BP, agency girls and finally independent providers.  The prices range from $10-$20 Bjs in a car to independents at $400+ in 5 star hotels.

As someone who has recently returned to Atlanta, I can tell you I was shocked at the price escalation that has occurred in the last 5-7 years.  I used to regularly see top rated providers in the $200 range who are now $300-400. That's a 50-100% increase.  Many of us simply can't afford those prices and I'm not willing to wait weeks just to see a more expensive provider once.

As previous posters have pointed out, there are some real gems on BP that can be found in the $150 range.  There are even occasionally some well known providers who will advertise a special on BP to drum up some volume.

One of the nice search features is the price range.  You can indeed find quality providers who will perform all of your desired services in the $150 range.  Now they will not be naturally busty, blonde 20 year olds, but I tend to have more fun with the MILF types anyway.

I travel often for work and sometimes BP is the only place I'm able to find providers in a particular area.

I never use them for the same reasons you stated plus I hope I have a more refined taste and appreciation for a lovely lady.

Trying to set up a last minute appointment with a high end provider or an email only provider is nearly impossible. So... "TIME" leads us men down the road of BP trying to find a diamond in the rough. I do feel awkward when i call an multiple agencies for last minute appointments with a specific provider in mind and be turned away due to my crazy tight schedule.
