Harry Potter's Severus Snape, Die Hard's Hans Gruber, The Sheriff of Nottingham (best part of the Costner Robin Hood film), and many others - Alan Rickman could always be counted on to be "that guy you loved to hate."

Please note, Alan Rickman's first major file was Die Hard (certainly one of the best action adventure movies ever made). He played the villain (Hanz) to perfection. One of the greatest movie bad guys of all time. He was historic.

He was so awesome in Dogma - he absolutely stole every scene he was in. RIP

I'm still in shock myself of the passing of the great Severus Snape,I've read all the books and seen all the movies several times.The dark yet gentle misunderstood Character of Severus will be greatly missed out here in real life!
