On this day 2 years ago America stopped and was at a standstill. What were you doing? Do you remember? I was cleaning my house and had the radio on. I just finished vacuming and heard something on the radio about a plane and the World trade center. I turned on the tv and was hit by a clip of the first plane crashing into the world trade center. I was floored, it felt unreal. Then the second plane hit and the building began to crumble. The horror of that day 2 years ago will never leave me. Funy how each year I am taken back in time and flooded with so much emotion. Like every American I could not sleep, eat, concentrate on anything afterward but the poor souls that lost their lives and the even greater horror of the ones trapped still inside. The fear that paralyzed our nation and still does to this day is sadening. It still makes me cry and makes my heart pound to think about it. Today I make this tribute to all who lost their lives on that tragic day, and to our country the great USA! We will prevail! God Bless America!
