I remember an old joke where a man went to the mall, he had a pair of Falcons game tickets that he didn't want, so he left them on the windshield under the wipers for someone to pick up for free...

When he got back to his car there were 6 tickets, not two (they must have had chillun) Falcons tickets were NOT in demand back then.

I remember some Falcon Head Coach saying "we'll make our statement on the field", and they DID,  and the next Sunday the LA Rams beat them something like 85-3.  That was years ago, with
maybe two or three even moderately respectable seasons since then.

There is some old saying about looking at one's past when you
predict one's future...

It takes more than an exciting QB (without a good backup, and who knows if he can even stay healthy for an entire season???) to make a good football team.  But they ARE entertaining, finding so many ways to grab defeat from the jaws of victory, when they go roaring down the field to miss a mid-range field goal.

Some of the seats I have seen in the Dome, TV is a better option.  For me, the best view is the first row in the upper level, with nobody falling all over you or some drunken idiot spilling beer on you.

.500 at best, now THOSE are the Falcons I have come to know and love.
