...Spammers trying to sell me "good reviews"? I thought that was against TER rules? His email said he could do up to 5 per month from different accounts.

I told him that I would be reporting him to TER.

Perhaps TER should consider a yes/no rating system?

Anyway Guys, this goes without saying but bears repeating, do your homework and stay safe out there!

There's always someone to take advantage of opportunities to make money. I ain't mad!

Someone out there noted how important it is to some ladies to have many good reviews and decided to monetize it.

I have gotten several messages like this and all I can say is... it's not that serious to me. But I can be dismissive of it because I'm not full time in the hobby. Others depend on it for their bread and butter.

Also, it seems a bit expensive.

This is extremely offensive to all the legitimate reviewers that pour their blood, sweat, and tears into their reviews.

Well - sweat anyway.

And another bodily fluid not to be named in polite cumpany.

I had a guy that was acting like another one, I knew he wasn't the reviewer because I emailed him in this system and was like respond to me, if the person I spoke to is really you...  please tell me this secret word juicy lol ...

of course when I speak to him he didn't know the word or about the word, so i said go check you ter email and he puts me on hold and then comes back and says I forgot my password... i said all you have to do is request a new one and you will get it in sec...   then i asked the killer question, why have you not did a review in over 1.5 years.... and he was like oh I just never got around to it.... but when he first called and thought I didnt have a ter account all he was talking about wa ter and how much of an hobbist he was top ten and everything... oh i said that I dont see your name in top ten what that about , and he just didn't even answer anything about that question....

I finally got that I was right when he tried to book for SC and didn't want to give a deposit nor, provide his hotel... I was like thanks but we are not a good fit....

A way to help stop it would be to play along and get his account information (TER ID) from him so you can *winwink* check him out, and then report him to TER. Hopefully they'd sh*t can him and block him from further use. Extra work sure, but in the long run beneficial IMO.

I had a reviewer promise discounts for good reviews.  My review wasn't bad, but it wasn't stellar, either. She reported the review as fake. Luckily, I remembered enough details that the admins kept the review.

Oh..., and she never contacted me as the admins had instructed. Talk about stacking reviews...
