I know some providers who like to be initially contacted by email, but eventually I think most speak with you at some point either to confirm or get room/apartment number.  I had a situation this week where I stopped en route to an appointment because a provider who I had not met and was going to a first time appointment with refused to speak with me and only wanted to coordinate via email and text.  I was driving a car, so speaking by phone would have been better to get directions.  It seemed odd and potentially suspicious, so I told her I didn't want to go.  She was able to verify me via P411, but she only had 2 or 3 reviews on TER, so I wouldn't say she is a well-known quantity.
I am just curious if the "standard two call system" we often mention is really standard, or if anyone is comfortable seeing a provider for the first time after only email and text contact.  The key here is "first time" as I do sometimes arrange solely by text with ladies I am seeing again.

If a provider is well-reviewed and chooses to communicate by text or via a screener, I don't understand the issue.  A number of my dates have unfolded this way.  Probably half or more of the ladies I've reviewed never spoke with me prior to actually meeting at the incall.

I'm a tough grader when if comes to looks.. and I would have ranked her higher than a 10. Like I said her scheduling is really weird.

And all sex ain't good sex.

Setting up a complete meeting via text is becoming more and more common!

I started email only about 2 months after I entered into the industry. i am thrilled i made the decision. It's easier for me to keep emails private as to speaking verbally over a phone. I strongly advertise email only on my website, so guys know before they contact me if it's something they can accept. It's working for me nicely, so to answer your question, there are guys that visit without speaking to me first.  

I have had many cases when I saw someone for the first time and only spoke to her screener beforehand. No problem. In fact, sometimes the screener is a blast to talk with.
When the provider insists on text only communication, especially while i'm on my way and need directions, that doesn't work. I simply won't risk a car wreck or worse because of ther total lack of consideration.

Obviously the agency girls I don't talk to in advance.  There's something very erotic about getting BBBJ 3min after you've walked in the door, by a hot young girl that isn't even really sure that you're the right guy that's supposed to meet her at that time . . . So JFL

I've had some killer dates where I either communicated through text/email or their personal assistant.

I am email only up until the day before or the day of the meeting.  It seems suspicious to me when someone doesn't want to speak on the phone or can't follow simple written instructions.

Most have an assistant whom I speak with, some are through agency (which you never get to speak directly to the girl), and the rest I've communicated via text or email. I can't recall that many providers whom I've spoken to directly, but yea your specific example is a bit awkward.

Otherwise its nice to hear a voice at some point before meeting.

So all 3 of the reviews you have written mention speaking to either provider or agency person on the phone, yet you think I am living in a limited or restricted world.
I am talking about an INDEPENDENT provider with no assistant, secretary, mamasan or anything else except her.  I was asking the group if her refusing to speak on the phone seemed like an odd way of doing business.  I guess I was just trying to make sure no LE or no big guy with a club would be waiting for me behind the door.  It didn't seem like such a huge request for our mutual security.
So now that it is 2013 and you haven't written a review since 2012, you go right ahead and email or text your way into trouble because you must think safety is not a concern in the world

I only communicate through email til I meet the guy usually. It's just more convenient for me. If a lady has plenty of reviews, why would talking or not talking to her change you wanting to spend time with her? I mean someone can talk to you on the phone and still have someone waiting with a club lol. I believe it's the way you screen the lady or gentlemen that should make you more comfortable not speaking with someone, because it doesn't do much in the terms of security.  

Most reputed independent provider does have assistants these days to constant badgering of emails and phone calls. If you are asking BP indies, I don’t have clue.

He is talking about someone who has no phone number listed and responds and talks via only email prior to meeting one -- no booking agent to guide you, screen you, even for last minute directions, etc.  I agree a human touch helps to put you at ease and helps to even expect the service quality of the agency or provider (ie if they have a stinky or rushed attitude...you might detect that and simply hang up versus a sexy voice or are just 'chatty' or you guys find a cool connection on the phone --- ive had all of the above scenarios happen)

And to further add I think it's downright stupid to not speak to anyone prior to meeting someone for the first time.

You can get a feel if the person is a jerk, drunk, high or not suitable...

I guess to each his own.. everyone has their own way of doing things

atleast one time before meeting. THAT tells me a lot and I am sure that tells you guys a lot too
Also it gives us a chance to kind of break the ice a little before we.... well you get the picture lol
I have had some situations where the guy wanted my apt# without ever speaking and I am always nervous when they get there UNLESS they have several rock solid refs and then I am fine with whatever really. I do spend a lot of time getting to know ladies too though THAT is definitely fun! haha!!

However, I do at some point have to speak with the gentleman scheduling an appointment for the first time. I get a better vibe/gut feeling about a person through email and a phone conversation! Call me Ol' School...
