Most of the time I only run into nice guys and the ones who are a@@holes stay away from me.  However, this week must be a@@hole pride week.  When you are calling me there is no reason to get snotty, when I nicely say I am not available there is no reason to hang up and not say bye.  Also, don't act shocked when I ask who you have seen before. This has happened five times JUST today....I had to just turn it off.  I feel better now....venting is a good thing

PS....GUYS...if you have pet peeves about ladies and phone etiquette I would love to hear your side also....maybe we can all learn something here?!

I totally agree, seems like guys want to call and come so to speak lol.. guys you know if you wanna play you have to go by the rules.. dont give the gals a hard time.. you know we have to watch out for ourselves....

if you really want to see me, you should know i ONLY have 2 appointment times, Lunch and Dinner.
if my dinner is over and i am still awake at 3am, does NOT mean i am going to pick up and talk to you... let alone rush out and see you.
you want someone at 3am, in my opinion, call someone else ie: Escorts, in the Yellow Pages.

Don't call really late...my phone is off anyway.  When you call don't start telling me what you want to do and are obviously masturbating as you tell me.

I never save names...but I save nicknames with phone numbers...the reclinerman, the the hairyman, the PrinceAlbert guy, the thicknineinch (ok I am kidding but it is there just in case).  Rude guys I label them as follows.. rude1, rude2, rude3, etc...LOL...

Most of you are great on the phone and very sweet and understanding....the nicer you are the better it is for us both.

An example of a ridiculous phone call that I got caught up in ... yes I wish I could take back what I did.  This guy kept calling...did three calls five min apart...each time he was breathing hard and smacking the phone (god only knows with what)...so the fourth call was about five min later...I am driving down the freeway and didn't look at the number...but I am thinking I am going to fix this guy and scream my fricking lungs out and hurt his ear....well I did that and screamed very loud into the phone....the joke was on me because it was not the pervert guy but the guy I was getting ready to visit...well he thought I'd lost my mind and no amount of explaining sounded rationale to him...he was nice enough to see me but I think I worried him so anyway....not sure where I am going on this...but the joke was on me and if the masturbater is reading this who started all this I hope you have a rotten day soon.

Sorry to hear about the hassle. From a guy's point of view I may have a few pet peeves that I touched on in a post I did about a month ago.

Probably the biggest is the call back or lack there of. I understand you lady's probably get a lot of calls and if you spent your time returning phone calls, you wouldn't get any thing else done. But for the guy, he is probably waiting for a call back and is probably trying to schedule his day around if the lady is available or not.

What I suggest is that on the voice mail greeting, that the lady indicate the hours that she will most likely be available to take calls and also indicate that if a return call is not made, lets say, an hour after the message is left, there is a good chance a call back will not be made. That way a guy would know that if he does get a call back by that time period, to try other alternatives.

I would suggest that all guys try to book at least a day in advance of when you want to see a lady. Many lady's dance cards are typically full if you are looking for a last minute encounter. At least this way if she is not available when you want to see her, you can ask when she may be free and plan accoridngly.

Oh one other thing. As much as the lady values her privacy, many guys do as well. I once had a situation where a lady I saw called me up months latter to ask me if I wanted to see her again. WTF?!?!?! I was in the middle of a business meeting at the time and dumb me didn't turn my cell phone off. Unless the gent say's its okay, I don't think its cool for the lady to call out the blue like that. Sort of freaked me and made me wonder what other info (from the screening) did she keep and why call back after so much time?

When a guy leaves a message I will not call him back UNLESS he tells me it is ok in the message and another good thing to include after the message is up to what time is good to call.  Many times I would have called back but if it is two hours later I don't know if he is at home etc...so better to be safe (thinking of his privacy) then sorry.  My cell phone sucks...why is it when I am home...Peachtree City/ Sharpsburg....it will not pick up!?   I have voice stream...maybe it is the service?

Good point. I generally do say "could you call back if possible before a certain time". I hope that the lady can assume that I will be making other plans or will not be available. I started that after a lady called me back around midnight after I called her around 10AM that day. I don't think I was up for nocturnal activities at that time especially when I had to be up at 4 the next day.

For the most part, if a guy is giving a call back number, he is free for you to call back unless he does put restirctions on the call back time. To be honest, I generally wont leave a message if I get a lady's answering machine because if stats were kept on this I would say maybe 20% will call back.

By the way, Voice Stream, even though they have great service plans like the rollover idea they copied from Nextel, their coverage area and service is rated toward the bottom in most metro areas.
