With the loss of Lundon last month, and the fact that we may never know what really happened, now may be the time for other providers to take a look at their practices. Keep in mind that this is only a few thoughts, I am not, nor do I claim to be an expert in anything. If a provider stays in or does business in an extended stay hotel, or uses the same hotel all the time , it seems that you would be increasing your chances to be hurt or robbed. The locals surely could figure out that an attractive lady, who dresses well, is alone and has multiple male visitors might be in the business. The criminal thought might be that these ladies would have lots of cash, laptops, jewelry, and other good stuff as well as being an easy target. Just a thought. As for protecting yourself, a gun is probably not a good choice, but Pepper Spray, and I mean the good stuff like you can buy at a sporting goods store, or online police store, will take the fight out of most anyone. Giving you time to escape and get needed assistance. If you have a friend or friend of friend who hunts or is a game warden they make a 20% spray they use on bears that would really be good. These are just some ideas that I had, I am sure that there are plenty of providers who are smarter in this area. Screening is always a good idea, but nothing wrong with having an ace in the hole.
