A few weeks ago I posted on the national board asking for input from providers and hobbyist concerning hobbyist who use the term "I Took One For The Team." Personally I find it disgusting and degrading for the providers.
I was overwhelmed with e mails from that post. I have posted several comments on my site. Not everyone agreed with me. Some hobbyist felt I was being too sensitive.

Thanks for the post, I do have a passion for this business. I like to write about expanding ones sexuality and experiences. I am active in the alternative lifestyle and work to educate people what it is and what it is not. I also try to help individuals who are considering seeing a provider but have no idea how to get started. Like calling a Dear Abby or Ann Landers about sexual issues.
As for as your comment on me not being your cup of tea, I respect that, and maybe you are not my cup of tea. I have hobbyist who contact me and they decide not to schedule an appointment with me and then I have hobbyist who contact me and I don't schedule an appointment with them. That is all part of living in a free world.
Where I have a problem is with your comment on denigrating those that do not want to see me. I have no problem with anyone who does not want to see me or anyone who schedules an appointment and then post that they did not feel I provided the level of service they expected.
I do have a problem with hobbyist who use degrading terms when writing about the providers in order to look to their peers like they are big tough high school football jocks. There is no need for this type of comments.The TER boards/reviews are not for locker room talk. It is read by hobbyist and providers alike.
All I posted on my site that you might find scary is that I suggested to other providers that we start a board on TER allowing us to rate and comment on the hobbyist. I wonder what type of comments the providers could write about some of the hobbyist.
These are just my opinions, but I respect yours too.

You know, I've been reading reviews off and on for a while and while there are some quality providers, there are a lot of apathetics and rip off artists who are simply doing what they do to bank roll. While I may or may not opt to schedule with Julie I must credit her motives in posting these questions as a sign of dedication to quality.
I'll give advice and explain my positions for $25.00. Will accept PayPal or cash.

I have a cartoon fetish, I have seen Julie 3 times. Don't knock it until you have tried it. I would rather have a provider with a cartoon than a provider with a fake picture or a picture that is 4 years old. Also, she has real pictures on Eros.

I would rather have Wonder Woman. She could tie you up and you could have sex in her plane.
Is a cartoon not a fake photo? I've never seen a provider's site loaded with so much anime.
Where would you post the review of your phone sex session? I haven't seen that page here at TER.
But perhaps the way the reviewer worded his review could have been degrading.
"Taking one for the Team" is simply a term we use when a fellow man sees a provider with no reviews or very uninformative reviews.
I read a post on another board from a long-time and respected gentleman,Range-Rider,that I will share with you all....

In battle, the first man over the trench typically got shot but the rest that followed survived because he was there to draw fire and take the first hit. Many times this point man came out without a scratch. When the situation is uncertain, frequently we need someone to take the lead and possibly take one for the team.
If a fellow hobbyist agrees to see an unreviewed provider, he is taking a chance and could very well take one for the team with a bad experience.
I really don't understand how this disses or degrades anyone. The poor bozo who paid to get stiffed is the one who suffers and we fellow hobbyists appreciate his sacrifice.
Now you can get a lot of comments from guys who pretend to get wounded in battle but ain't that the way it always is?
I say we owe those who take one for the team! Let's raise our glasses high and toast to the poor bastards who bear the scars of unreviewed provider disasters yet had the courage to drag their embarrassed, cheated souls back to camp for debriefing. And a pox upon those providers who prey on us poor sheep.
