He's done this in the past. He was reported to TER the last time he tried this. He does not represent TER as TER management would never do anything like this. Ignore him, or better yet, report him to TER. He has been reported previously.
This was posted on TBD's Atlanta Board yesterday - thought you might want to be warned of a scam going on:
"TER SHAKEDOWN!!!!! PROVIDERS BEWARE!!!
I just received the strangest and unsettling call from a man by the name of Chris who claimed to be a reviewer or moderator from TER. He called today from a restricted number at around 6:00 pm. He said that he had just received two bad reviews on me and that since I was new that this could hurt my business. He said in order to keep the reviews from being posted and to discredit the reviewers I would have to give two free sessions. Or something like that. Providers have any of you received the same call? Is this legal? If they post should I get an attorney? I'm so upset I'm shaken. Can they do that? Is this a scam? Is this some guy or guys trying to get free sessions? I don't know what the hell to think! Does anyone have any suggestions. I do know the reviews I have on TER so far are good. I'm clueless, upset, angry, appalled, hurt, and a little worried. HELP!!!!!"

If he calls back agree to meet him and set a time and place. I'm sure a well connected girl like yourself can arrange for him to meet with a little accident.
First, I would like to thank everyone that responded to my post. I feel a little silly now, but for those 5 minutes I was talking to this "Chris" I felt helpless. The next time someone does this (hopefully never) to me I am going to schedule that appointment. I may not answer my door but I will definitely get a good look at him and what he is driving and I'm going to post it! What he did in my opinion is a type of assault. Any time a man (or woman) puts themselves in a position of power or in this case a perception of power and threatens a woman for "favors", whether it be physical, verbal, emotional, or financial...I consider that to be an assualt. I understand ultimately it is the provider's decision...but what if I were 18 or 19 and just got into the business? I might have fallen for it as I'm sure some young providers out there have. I handled myself on the phone well, but as you can see by my original post he shook me up and for that I hope someone catches up with him and others like him and Kick His A$$! Everyone on the board have wonderful and safe Labor Day Weekend. I am now officially on vacation and I'll see you guys Tuesday. Be Safe!
I am based out of Los Angeles. I am the only person who can take down a bad review and I have no intentions of running 3000 miles just to see you, free or not. Sorry..
