I was thinking about coming out for a visit next week. I am from Phoenix and well reviewed here on TER. You can look me up under Phoenix and check out my website. You're going to get conflicting advice on staying near the airport.  The guys on the south side will be all for it.  The guys in Marietta will tell you to stay at the Perimeter Center.  The guys in Duluth will tell you you need to go farther up 400.  I'm right smack dab in the middle, so it's all good for me, but I'd recommend the Embassy Suites in Buckhead.  It's 5 minutes from home.

Due to safety and freedom concerns, I recommend staying in the Perimeter Mall area.  The Crowne Plaza Ravinia on Ashford-Dunwoody Rd. is a great hotel.  There are also several other hotels in the area to choose from.  Perimeter Mall is easily accessible from I-285 and is one exit past GA Hwy 400 as well as not being far from I-85 and Spaghetti Junction.  In the past, it has been a profitable area and has been considered by many to be one of the "safer" locations in Atlanta to work.  Hope this helps.  If you would like, you may e-mail me at [email protected].
