When the Panthers get finished with the Pats, the "Boston Tea Party" will look like a church social!

I have had a friend in from L.A. this weekend and have been taking a break and catching up.

We met while I was in Vegas and have kept in touch. We went to a fantastic Italian restaurant by my house Friday evening and then all the fellas went to the movies while I got my nails done.  Off to have a little fun Sat night and put him on a plane this afternoon.

It's always nice to visit with good friends.

I hope you all have had a good weekend. I'm watching football and ooooh so happy the PATS WON!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now if I could only be so lucky and have Carolina win...

MsB glad you had a good time with old friends. I've been back and forth to the games all day. When there is a TO I rush to my keyboard. I'M PULLING FOR CAROLINA ALL THE WAY.

You're lucky I read your other post first.  :(

At least you're rooting for the right NFC team.  :)

I love the Colts and would have loved to see them go all the way.  Unfortunately, I didn't think they would be a formidable opponent on the off chance that Philly wins this damn game. I am really just after the team to beat Philly. lol
Manning is a great QB and he deserves to go to the big dance someday.

was two weeks ago when the Patriots beat the Titans! The Panthers and their fans should be proud. There's nothing wrong with finishing second. ;)

If it's any consolation Brooke, I pick the Colts to win the SB next year. The Pats will have a tough time repeating as champs next year.

The Panthers should be proud of losing to us.  The Panthers didn't see it that way.  The Cowboys went into Charlotte with their eyes wide open.  Unforunately, their eyes were a little TOO wide open.  The Rams thought they were getting a second bye week.  Mike Martz thought he still had a sure thing even after getting pushed around for 60 minutes.  I wonder what he was thinking after 76 minutes?  The Eagles were a tough team, and they got beat down hard.  Those damn Panthers just kept getting better all year.  I'm not ready to say they'll win, but it's gonna be a long day in Boston if the Pats don't bring their A game.  Maybe even if they do.

the Pats don't look past anybody! That's why they're able to win close games week after week.

One thing that Crennel and Belichick consistently do with their defensive game plan is "take away" the other team's most dangerous offensive threat. If you'd like to know what Marvin Harrison felt like after Sunday's game, ask Steve Smith after the Super Bowl! SMITH WILL BE A NON-FACTOR!

Every week opposing teams talk about how they will pressure Brady. It doesn't happen. He gets rid of the ball took quickly. Jake is going to have to throw the ball more than 9 times! If the Pats' defensive schemes confused Manning like that, Jake will be catatonic by the end of the game. ;)

The Panthers and John Fox deserve all the credit in the world for their fine season and they will be an NFL force in the future. It's just that the Super Bowl was settled two weeks ago. The Panthers wouldn't have beaten the Titans either.

The Panthers story reminds me of the 1985 Patriots who won three road games to get to the Super Bowl before the Chicago Bears introduced them to reality!

I am a fan of the game -- maybe not into as much detail as some of you and the  Titans / Patriots game was an outstanding game.
But, the Panthers look and play real hungry. If their defense plays as well as they did against the Eagles it could be a very interesting game.
