I have always considered the question, "Are you a law enforcement officer or connected with law enforcement?", to be one of the dumbest things that can come out of the mouth of any provider. Cops have never had to fess up to who they are and besides that, who is the judge going to believe. Talking about services for $$ or asking for the $$ up front sets you up for a fall if they are LE. There are many ways to avoid being charged with sex for hire, but, in the end a cop can lie and say whatever he wants to and who is going to believe you. Doing massage without a license is another thing. Some places actually require a $10,000 bond before issuing a massage license. They know that massage is often a front for other activities. I quess the whole thing is an occupational hazard.
Before moving back to Atlanta from Sacramento, CA I was part of a movement to decriminalize protitution in California. There are some high powered people behind the effort and one criminal defense lawyer with over 800 capital murder cases under his belt. Two things he warns about is never discuss services for money and always ask to see a drivers license. He claims that he has NEVER heard of a cop showing his own drivers license. If the client covers the address he says that is ok. His point is that no cop will ever show his DL. I'm no expert on what cops here in GA will do or not do but would be interested in hearing about any case where a vice cop here showed his DL. Ya'll take care and be safe.
Sadly today there was a large bust going on and one of my friends got arrested for massage without a license.
I have noticed lately that there are a lot of guys who do not want to give out screening information, however screening is very important. I believe one of the reasons may be the fact that there are many ladies in the Atlanta area who do not screen. Please PLEASE ladies screen your clients, not only that let them know that they can use you as a reference with other ladies. I hear a lot of guys who complain about ladies who will not give them a reference. This is a vicious circle, but we have to stick together and watch each others back!
This does not just benefit the provider you're seeing, but yourself, please make an extra conscious effort to be extra cautious.
Remember SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY.
For those who do not know this, if you ask someone if they are a cop and they are, they can say NO! Entrapment IS legal in the state of Ga.
If you have any questions you can email me at [email protected] I will do everything I can to help.
