Hi, all.  I just wanted to get any recommendations for easy, relatively anonymous testing for ALL STDs.  Anything you could share would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Mr. Luv, you can go to any "county" health dept to get tested for STD's, one will be a swab type (gonh..chyl..trich...etc..) and the others are blood tests (HIV,Syph.HepB) total costs will not exceed $50....you are only given a number and that number is what is used to give you your results.  Good luck...if you have any questions don't hesitate to call your county health (or better yet go to a county that is not your county)...ask them anything!  Trust me...nothing phases them!!

Hey Mr. Luv! Just remember, if it's HIV yr worried about, it could take 3-6 mos to show up, so you might want to wait a bit. I get my testing done thru my HMO, but, I also don't have any significant others on my policy. GA state law is really strict on releasing names along with this kind of info, tho, it's all kept up with lab #s. I just picked up my most recent set of negative-across-the-board results yesterday, but had to pick them up in person, even tho they were all negative, that's how tight the state is with info!!!

Like Raven said, tho, the county health departments are the way to go. My new doctor at Kaiser is a moralistic browbeater, she tried to tell me there is "no such thing" as a "routine" STD test!! She was like, "duh, why don't you use a dental dam??" I was like, "do you treat everyone who comes in here to PROTECT themseles this way??" No wonder people are so scared of getting tested!

Now, when I used to go to the county, in my pre-health insurance days, they'd just laugh at me for being so paranoid ... they were like, oh, we're so used to seeing 86-pound bisexual junkies coming in here with syringes sticking out from between their toes, you ain't got SH*T to worry about girl! Heh heh.
