Gotta go with the Pats. Belichick with 2 weeks preperation owns the first half of the game. Halftime adjustments puts McNabb and the Eagles out of thier game plan adding stress to the biggest pressure cooker in team sports. Pats have 'been there, done that' and that experience brings 'em number 3.
The Eagles are going to beat the Patriots because...
1) McNabb and TO are the two best offensive players on the field
2) 3 pro-bowlers (Including a future HOF Free Safety = bad luck for Brady)
3) Jeremiah Trotter alone is going to keep Dillon from running the ball.
If the Patriots do win it will be because of Belichick and Coach Crennel but they will need alot more than Vinatieri kicking a game winner.
Too bad we lost yesterday. It was a total let down on our part but I know one thing... Coach Mora better learn to stop being so conversative with the play calling when the stakes are so high. *mad face*
Beg to differ-but NO ONE has dominated the way the Pats have. No big superstars, but an incredible style of TEAM ball. As they say-"To be the man, you've got to beat the man>" Pats beat the 2nd and 3rd best teams in football to get here. Who did the Eagles beat (No offense, Falcons). 40 points against the best defense in the league? Pats win easily. Can you say "Dynasty"?
Else, we might as well replace George Washington's picture with that of Tom Brady's on the dollar bill as we football fans will never hear the last of the might Pats the team of the century.

The Patriots should very easily take care of business on 2/6/05 for SB XXXIX......here's why:
1)They play as a team.....there are no true great standouts on the team. Sure Brady has 2 MVPs , but they have to hand the MVP to someone. 2)They humiliated the best offensive team in the league--the Indianapolis Cols--by a score of 20-3. 3)They embarrassed the best defensive team in the league--the Pittsburgh Steelers--by a score of 41-27. 4)They also have a much better and more experienced coach---Bellechick.
With or without TO....the Eagles should lose. If the Eagles want to win this game , they'll have to get at least 3-5 turnovers and convert almost all of them to points. My 2 cents
I agree on those points but then again people are forgetting that:
1) Manning played that game with both of his hands around his neck.
AND
2) Roethlisberger had to be the most overrated QB ( with the exception of Favre ) in the NFL this season.
Although Pittsburgh got alot of hype for having the best defense in the NFL, the Eagles have the #1 ranked defense in these playoffs and if McNabb DOES NOT turn it over ( which will be tough for him ) the Eagles will win. I am almost certain Brady will fumble or throw an INT. Their best player ( Dillon ) has no playoff experience so that will play a big part. We'll see though, it should be a great game. But believe me, if the Pats struggled to get past the Panthers and Rams, they will most definitely against the Eagles.. and don't underestimate coach Reid's abilities either.
BB, I'll never be well. I'll just keep getting nughtier. Remember, (to paraphrase Mae West), it's not the women in my life, it's the life in my women!!
