Pleasures Playhouse _seems_ to be a descendant of the old Jennifer's Jewels agency, which had a very definite reputation as bait and switch. Since it was an agency where girls were "at the office" or on-call with very short notice (i.e. if they were on-call, they had to be able to report to the incall location within 30-60 minutes), a couple of us figured out the way to avoid the BnS was to call up and ask "Who is working and available between [state your available time window]?". Whoever answered the phone would rattle off a list of girls, and if the one you wanted to see was in the list, you made the appt. One week a couple guys and me grouped up and kind of figured out which girls on the web site were complete fabrications by placing several calls at different times, and some girls NEVER came up on the "working now" list.
Anyway, they caught on to what was happening, and started answering the question with "All of our girls are on call 24 hrs a day. Who did you want to see?" and the BnS was back in play.
If you've really done your homework, you should probably have reached the conclusion NOT to mess with PPH at all (it's difficult to resist, I know; there's a new girl named Ava listed there who is tempting enough that I've been considering a "research appointment" to update the information). Instead, find one of the independent ladies who is similar to whoever it is you like at PPH and go that route instead.
Related question: has anyone called PPH lately to see what their rates are? Or, are the rates set by each girl individually?

I travel alot, mostly midwest but hit Atlanta a few times and tried PPH and got same b&s you referred to. I wouldnt use them again but like always YMMV.
weekend outcalls have increased to 350. They haave some nice girls mixed in but it's just not the same sence Angelique left to go back to college.I met Ally while I went to see another lady.I think I will be giving her a call. The best thing about their site is the note of which are gfe or not although it's not allways accurate. One note: check indivual reviews. Brooke is hot looking but that attitude is a real buzz killer.
You know, I noticed that "GFE: yes/no" field on the new pages as well. My first thought was "Do the ones who list as GFE=no ever get ANY business?", but as we're all aware, there's an interested customer for each and every girl that ever decides to do this work. Some girls just get MORE of them. 
"GFE" encompasses so many things, too, although I'd guess the two major aspects most people consider GFE must include are kissing and BBBJ, NEITHER of which could be had from ANY JJ's girl the last time I had a session through them.
I don't necessarily expect BBBJ as part of a GFE. An atmosphere of relaxed companionship, kissing, and some form of BJ are the only true musts for me to consider it a GFE experience. We all love our BJ's uncovered, but I appreciate a woman who adheres to her safety code. It's not like I expect her to act like a real girlfriend who is seeing only me.
Pleasures Playhouse is very good at supplying very attractive women on short notice. Most of the girls pictures on their website were legitament at some point, but they have a bad reputation for keeping popular girls pictures up long after they have left - Taylor was a good example. If you are looking for a "quick fix" with an attractive lady on short notice then PPH is for you. Some of their girls are better than others, so it helps to do your homework if you are going to see them. If you are looking for a "GFE" do some research here and stick with one of the proven "winners".

I like Pleasure's Playhouse. They have plenty of sexy women available on short notice, and B&S isn't an issue if you deal with them the right way. The closest I've had to B&S with them was when the lady I was going to see got an unexpected visit right before I got there, so she introduced me to someone else (who's name I immediately forgot, oops) who treated me to a nice time. I can see how some people could get B&S'd by calling and asking for 1 specific woman. Personally, I make a "to-do" list before I call. Then when I do call, I ask who's available and check off whoever's on my list. The only real problem I have with them is that my "to-do" list keeps growing faster than I can check them off.

Re: Service
This is just speculation on my part, but I believe they give all their new girls a questionaire for all that basic info and a short "About Me" essay. So each woman decides what constitutes GFE for her. If you want a woman who's never even heard the word Trojan ala CCK, then this isn't the place to look. Your best bet is to do your research and read the reviews of anyone on their website who catches your eye.

Well, that's good. It sounds like they have at least dropped the "All of our girls are available, which one do you want to see?" line.
With your method, there is still the chance that when you ask "who's available", no one available will be on your to-do list, and they have lost a customer. That's what they were trying to avoid when they changed their tactics the last time.
If you confirm Ava (it was me who asked, not Aliados; I think he mostly prefers his women skinny), then I promise that not only will I see her, but I'll do my next research appointment there to confirm someone else!
I guess getting that link to Elle caused a little blood flow problem.
I would also be interested in a review of Ava. I do prefer my women slender, but my ATF - Taylor/Kathryn is not what I would consider petite. Ava's pictures definately put her on my "short list".
As for PPH - Dolcie was my favorite girl there. Brooke looks great if all you want is eye candy, but her sessions are mechanical and unenthustistic. Plus the fact that she is a bed-wetting liberal didn't help! LOL

#1. If an agency has a bad reputation for B&S, STAY AWAY
#2. If you want to be sure what girl you actually will get to see, stick with independants who have a high rating and who are known to have accurate pictures of themselves available.
#3. No woman who gives away a large portion of the money she is given by a gentleman for her services to an agency (pimp) is very smart. This is the reason for all the bait and switch nonsense. They can't keep the women working for them, so the pictures they use to draw you men in, they also use to lure the women in, with promises that they will make more money once THEIR pictures are put up in ads. Then a few weeks later, bada bing bada boom, they got new pictures of a girl to put on their site, complete with model release, and by this time the girl in question has either run away, burned out or wized up and moved on .... c'est la vie. I know I have seen it firsthand. This is exactly why I am independant.
Do yourself a favor. There are quite a few of us who are here on ter that are available and willing to be held accountable for our services, good or bad. Forget these agencies. They have bad reputations because they routinely rip gentlemen off. They do it to their ladies too. I could tell you horror stories, LE busts orchestrated just to appease the law so the agency can stay in business, girls being "fined" for imaginary client theft, clients being harrassed by phone girls, threatened by drivers, you name it. If you need a good provider, call me or another one of the ladies on this board that are independant. We only serve the client, not the pimp/agency.

The problem is that the good ones are so few and far between.
I used a particular agency almost exclusively for about 2 years, and loved it. Would still be going there if it existed under the same circumstances.
Also, some girls make great providers, but they have no organizational skills at all. They end up double-booking, missing appts, loosing the keys to their incall place, etc all cause they can't keep an appt book straight. Girls like that don't need to be drummed out of the business - they just need a good agency to handle the logistics at a fair price.
My experience with agencies has varied. I have found that the low key ones are usually the best. Most of them do not advertise and do not have pictures of their girls available. They don't have to because they have more than enough 'regular' clients to keep their girls busy. The girls pay a fee to the house and for that they share expenses of the incall location and get the security of having other people there in case a 'wacho' shows up.
The agencies that advertise heavily and post on the boards are usually best to avoid.
