Seemed to have become popular in Europe in late 80's offer more freedom to the male... when used properly (in my opinion) a more sensative experience. Never really took off in popularity in the US, possibly cost had an issue to do with that. I absolutely adore the experience. (princeal and other fans of piercings might check it's effectivness before indulging...  but I am sure he can give the exact 411 on all of that)

Who Wears the Wrong Size Condom?

BERLIN (Reuters) - Most German men wear condoms of the wrong size, a condom distributor said on Wednesday, after asking more than 2,500 men to measure their erect penis.

 

"People measure their feet when they buy shoes. Why shouldn't they measure their penises? A man would not wear children's shoes," said Jan Vinzenz Krause of Vinico, which released the study's findings on World AIDS (news - web sites) Day.


Most condom boxes in Germany indicated size but men, due to embarrassment or vanity, rarely checked or just bought those marked "extra large," he said.


Vinico's survey recommended various brands to be used -- depending on the endowment of the wearer.


The study found the average erect penis size was 14.7 cm (5-3/4 inches), with 40 percent of participants reporting lengths between 12 and 15 cm (4-3/4 and 5-7/8 inches).


When compared with the condoms normally used by the participants, the results showed only 18 percent wore the right size, with nearly half squeezing into condoms that were too small and 34 percent trying to use those that were too big.

I have not been successful finding the "extra short and thin" size.  A pen cap fits perfectly and helps with my endurance, but there just isn't a lot of sensation.  Any recs?

I have found it helpful to have them wear special glasses while they are spending time with me.  They look a little like coke bottle bottoms, but I look much more impressive through them.

Ladies need one of those mirrors over the bed like that on the passenger side of a car.  Objects in this mirror may appear bigger than they actually are.

Nice topic, Heidi...I wish more gents would really consider this.  Many of my gent friends know my "ahem...muscle control is quite strong, and I tend to pull condoms off..."

Wearing the proper size is very important...it reduces slippage, and nothing will leak out after...;-)

I've really been thinking of trying the female condom...How many men would consider trying this?  Not sure how aesthetic it would look..but it offers the same, if a bit more protection as it covers a larger outer area on a woman, and the woman puts it on, not the man...

The only thing is they are more expensive, and difficult to find in stores; usu. have to mail order...

So what do you guys think??  Have any of the ladies' tried these??  A gent told me he tried them w/a provider, and they were like wearing nothing at all...

I'm having "deja vu, all over again".  :-)

I'd certainly be willing you help you try it out.  I can think of a couple of advantages:

- if you put the female condom in early in the session, it can allow the initial penetration to occur "in the flow" of things, instead of needing to stop

- for guys that are condom-phobic, could eliminate the dreaded "condom placement loss of erection"

- in a multi-girl session, it would allow partner changes without the typical male condom changes (the more I think of this, the more I think this might be the best argument for them; there's a particular porn movie scene I remember that I think would be really hot to get to experience for real)

drawbacks:
- how would they affect access to a lady's clit?  hopefully, they wouldn't cover that much area on the outside

- seems like they might get in the way when activity alternates between intercourse and manual/oral stimulation

After I wrote all that, I followed the link and read the product reviews on the web site.  Seems several of the same issues were raised there, but there were both good and bad reviews.

Certainly seems worth a try, though.

Joc, when I was in Toronto last summer the drugstore at the airport (of all things) was selling the female condoms.  I was so intent on buying all the "Today's Sponges" (remember Elaine from Seinfeld conducting interviews to see who was "sponge worthy"?) that I ran out of cash to purchase the female condoms.  I know that all these various condoms, both male and female, can be ordered via internet if we have difficulty locating them in our neighborhood drugstores.

Like, the Source mentioned, best when ordered in bulk (I think you said something close to that, Source).

P.S.  Guys....please, please don't be embarrassed to buy a condom that really does fit correctly!  If you buy one of those super-duper huge extra-sized Magnum condoms and it falls off during a playsession or worse....inside of a provider, then that's not really a great "Kodak moment" for either one of us.  We love and appreciate all shapes and sizes....otherwise the male world would be dull if every man was a carbon copy of each other.  I LOVE change and uniqueness...so be proud!!

Wish more ladies where like you Sofia . I have all way like them better they feel like nothing on they are safer because they cover the out side too. The ladies I have try them with didnt want to learn how to put them in ,or didnt like the way they looked. Hell the damn thing aint made to look at!! one size fit all and I dont think it any way to bust them.Just be sure to lube the inside and dont lube the outside and they work great. I think if ladies really wanted to please there guys they would learn more about them and use them more and they dont cost that much more. Rite Aid use to carry them.

The statement on the referenced link.... the female condom, "increases the number of protected sexual acts". This implies to me that the condom is used a number of times!!
When one considers the cost of sex with a provider, the $3.95 for a condom is insignificant. I hope that a provider isn't planning on "washing", or "rinsing" the condom and using it on the next client.
Certainly, the provider would have to become adept at placing the condom in her vagina!!

It seems that all the guys posting here are belittling themselves. I've seen a lot of porn in my day, and the only guys I see in the flicks are HUGE, so huge, in fact, they seem to have "limp" dicks!
Q #1. From what I read in Heidi's post, the average man is about5-1/2" long. These statistical "sports"(the ones with the huge dicks) probably represent ony 1% or less, of the whole bell curve, yet they're all over the screen in the porn flicks.
Q#2 Do normal women like dicks 10-15" long with a girth of 5-6", maybe more. Is it a psychological thing??

Q#3 Do these big dicks do damage inside a vagina? How about damage to a rectum ??

Q#4 Are there a disproportionate number of black men with big dicks compared to white men??

Well I agree with everything you said. The big dicks can damage the vagina. I heard they can damage the cell in your vagina and can help lead to cervical cancer... The damage to the rectum I know nothing about. I heard that if your rectal wall is streached too much it isnt like the vagina. It doenst go back to a firm shape. Last question, not all black men are well endowed. i would say it is actually a 50/50 ratio. You never know what you are going to get. LOL

I guess I am as uniformed and others out here, I never saw sizes on condoms.  Am I overlooking them?  But usually the escort will want to use her own, and I have never seen one check me and then look for the correct size.  (grin) maybe they looked and knew they did not have one that small.  Oh well now I spilled the beans(grin) Maybe I have never been with a tight one or back to the maybe I am too small.  Many ladies say, "you are big" I believe it is just to make you feel better. I never check out guys, yes I was in the service, but guys do not walk around with a hard on(grin)  Seriously, is this a problem?  Sofia seems to maybe think so, are there condom different sizes out there?

and it's actually one of the reasons many ladies insist on using their own.  I remember, back in high school, being taught this lesson by an older friend of mine:

When you buy condoms, buy the biggest size you can.  That way, if a girl insists you wear one (and, frankly, back then, not many girls did), you put it on, take a couple of long strokes at the beginning, and the loose fitting condom will probably just come off anyway.

Of course, if you weren't sure if the girl was also taking other precautions, you were taking big risks with unwanted pregnancies.

Most of us ladies know what we are looking at...or can deduce by what's in our mouths...LOL!  We all have our methods of telling what size you are...;-p

I really loathe using latex condoms, as they change my scent, and dry my natural lubricant out...

My fav condoms are Trojan Supra, made of polyurethane...But if you aren't "thick" enough, they will slip off very easily from the base...Unfortunately, these are the only ones made of poly that I can find...but I stay wet, you can REALLY feel all the heat I transfer, and I get off rather easily...

I absolutely detest Magnums...have you ever kissed a girl after she has taken one of those off, and you've been in her mouth...Most disgusting taste ever...
MagnumXL's are nice, as they don't have the same lubricant than the regular Magnums for some reason.

As for size...most know I love "large-sized" men...I get off very easily on penetration alone, as I've been told I have a very easy to find and a larger than average g-spot...But it doesn't matter how large or small or average you are.  If you work it right...both you and I will reach the intended goal....To Score!!!!

as much as the width. They seem to vary in lenght ok, but they are all too damn tight and tend to squeeze way to hard (I tend to be of the "meaty" size, whether that is good or bad is up to the lady). Really sucks when you a raring to go and suddenly your member gets squeezed like a vice-grip.
