Well, guys ... I hope we have a miscommunication here, and that O didn't go "off the deep end" ...

I think the "beating" FF referred to here was more like the "self-pumping" method that, even though it helps temporarily, is no where near as fun, exciting, or enjoyable as spending time with my angel .. er, my therapist. Her methods and activities are on a much higher level, and the "scenery" is oh so nice to look at. (I also liked the "exploratory time" with her in between "pumping sessions". Darn, there goes that swelling again. I forgot to mention that sometimes, just remembering pretty ladies causes the swelling. I guess I'll have to call her soon to help me out.)

O - thanks for your suggestion, but I think I'll stick to the more alternative methods. They may not be as permanent, but they sure seem like a whole lot more fun.

I know I've seen some of you mention your medical training. I have this recurring problem that, perhaps, you (or anyone else familiar with my symptoms) could help me with.

I have an occasional swelling in the area "down there". I also experience a sort of ache ... not a serious pain, but a definite feeling that draws my attention to that area; at times I would even call it a throbbing feeling. My heart rate seems to quicken, and I get a warm sensation. (I know this seems weird, but my tongue seems a bit "active" also, like it's in need of something to lick. Strange sensation, indeed.)

The symptoms seem to worsen during rather specific times of the day, like the very early morning hours when I am on the computer. (I scan the boards, reading reviews and looking at provider ads, answer a few tantalizing emails, etc; nothing out of the ordinary.) Is this perhaps an exposure to CRT radiation? Would an upgrade to larger Flat Panel Display help my situation any?

The other time the symptoms sometimes crop up are when there are ladies around. Not all ladies cause these reactions, just certain types. (and, it seems, the better looking ones might be the cause of the problem)  Is it perhaps some fragrance they wear at a younger age that older ladies just aren't hip to? Or, perhaps, some fabric that is not popular with those other ladies?? I mean, maybe I'm allergic to this fragrance or fabric??

I got up the courage to have someone take a good look at the situation about a month ago. (Luckily the symptoms seemed VERY aggravated and intense at the time.)  This lady (a very lovely angel, might I add) gave me a very thorough exam, particularly in the affected area. I think she was one of those "alternative medicine types", as she opted to try various methods to pump the area to relieve the swelling. (She was quite creative in her methods, at times, even showing me some exercises that would help to pump the area. It was a bit fun [okay quite a lot of fun], but almost exhausting to me.) Now, I did experience some sort of relief after she attempted the pumping sessions. (She insisted on trying again.) The swelling subsided a little bit, but only for a short time. Had I ingested some sort of toxic agent? (She never mentioned it, but I did notice that the pumping had removed this hard to describe milky fluid. She tasted it, but never commented as to whether that was my problem, or not.)

Has anyone else ever had these symptoms? Should I see this lady (my angel) for a follow-up visit? Are there any specialists in this area of medicine? Or, would it be better to go to one of those clinics, or agencies, where there are more ladies to consult with? Should I try to schedule a group consultation with 2 or more practitioners for a better opinion? Does something like this require a prolonged treatment period?

Also, I've seen some of the ladies take MasterCard and Visa, but I was wondering, does anyone take Blue Cross/Blue Shield?

Take two providers and call me in the morning

Definitely sounds like CRT syndrome. Have you checked the young lady's crotch? You can usually tell if she's the culprit, because she will be very wet and sensitive to the touch, especially if you try to tongue her! I would say that you need to see her each time your problem recurs. I know it's very expensive medicine but the results are worth it. I just received my doctorate in Sexology, with a subspecialty in hornicata reliefum. I experienced the same syndrome as you, and delayed the remedy for 24 hrs and the results the following morning were disastrous. I had to launder the bedding twice!!
So, take my advice, don't hesitate, for that young lady is just what the doctor ordered. Now go, grasshopper, and spread the word, or her legs if necessary.

I think you're onto something! She was indeed very wet and slippery. I'll just have to call that lady and see if I can reschedule with her.

I wonder, since she didn't fix things the first time (after all, the problem came back), is this re-visit FREE ??

(That's my Walmart side talking again ...)

just symptomatic relief.  This is hopefully a chronic ,recuring condition.

That put a Very BIG Smile on my face!!  I love to relieve pressure of your kind!!
Hugs.

I thought a little levity was needed on this board. And, I've run out of interesting questions to pose, so I got a bit creative.

Glad it amused some and brought forth smiles.

(Now if I could only get some relief ... What about that Blue Cross coverage?)

.....or no nurse is available to help relieve the pain, keep beating the member until the swelling subsides.  I have found that to be the best remedy.

Great post atl-mk!

FF you are so wrong!!! You never get rid of an ailment such as yours by beating it. The more definitive treatment is surgical!
Do you have a sharp boning knife? If you do, then hold the aching member in your left hand (if you are left handed, then hold the member in your right hand) Now, close your eyes and draw the knife across the member in a fast manner, being careful not to cut the dangling members. Now take a styptic pencil, wet it and try to stop the bleeding. BTW, this is the "Bobbit" procedure. If you survive, you won't ever have to worry about that throbbing that you had. Now, go and spread the word grasshopper, my work here is done!!

Blue Cross can't cover it, but certain parts of my body can!  LOL

Blondie, sounds to me that you are what the doctor ordered!! My advice to you would be to take two ATLMikes and call him in the morning.
I just got back from the Master's here in MB and I am not really responsible for anything I may be typing!!
I tried to hook up with Kaleigh tonite (she's touring MB) but she doesn't respond to a couple calls I made to her!!!
I did want to see her because atl_mgr said that she was beautiful. I couldn't find any reviews for her on TER, but I'll take atl mgr's word.
I know that there are a lot of bikers here this weekend, but that's no excuse for not returning a call!! I'll make one more call to her at noon tomorrow, and if she doesn't respond, She lost a client. Can any provider afford to lose a client who sent his references ten days ago????
