I was contacted by a "business tycoon" who claimed to own a model agency in LA.
He gave me all his information and even some provider references who I spoke with from LA.
When it was all said and and done I agreed on taking the trip to see him, so he proceeded to send me
a cashier's check over FedEx.
When I went to the bank to go cash and waited for two hours the manager informed me that the check was fake.
After many apologies for the keeping me waiting they offered me a mint and told me i was in no trouble but they'd need to keep the check for obvious legal reasons.

This scam has been around for as long as I was able to get a hard on...  Dancers, escorts, etc... all have a secret desire to "make it rich", and do we all, and these scumbags play on that with all the promises in the world.  You're lucky you discovered the fake check... some versions of the scam actually send valid check enough to get you a one way ticket to wherever and once you get there, you quickly discover you got suckered into photo shoots, movies, etc.... without payment and then realize you already signed model releases, or otherwise get blackmailed in some way.... common sense should tell anyone there is no free lunch.  There is not easy "get rich quick" plan particularly based on an unsolicited phone call out of the blue...

Should have known that shit is out there but didn't even occur.

Another reason for a hobbyist not to give out t.m.i

I've seen providers with verifyhim.com banners on their websites.  We hobbyists know there are many sites utilized for screening purposes.  We aren't stupid, and you ladies tend to be pretty loose lipped about your methods of screening in session so whats the big deal?  Only a big deal if you make it.

I've been educated by one of Atlanta's finest.  Had no idea the wealth of information readily available to the ladies, but it's really no different than any other individual who utilizes the web for information purposes.  Take a look  at spokeo.com and many others like it.

I'm glad the resources are available.  When you keep up with current trending topics like the Detroit Escort murders, it's good to know there are sites that can potentially save lives.  If you think your information is too valuable to give up, then you should give up hobbying.  These ladies may be risk takers, but they don't deserve to be robbed, raped, beaten, or even dead.

If a man doesn't want to give up the necessary information he isn't worth the effort IMO.

2.Paypal is questionable and ANTIADULT.Read their policies and hope/pray they dont close your acct.

Now on a more serious note... of course some screening is necessary, but it really bothers me when somebody tries to blow smoke up my ass about how "we" know just as much based on reviews on TER" as a girl's screening questions..... See how it can work since they are pulling data from existing information sites. More providers should become members and reduce the hassle of verification. Not sure how much personal data site actually display.
