I'm really just curious and not judging the OP.

I'm a 'plan ahead' kinda guy, so I would never consider asking this on the board.  

If I ever wanted to inquire about a same day appointment, I would contact a lady I've seen before and politely ask if she had some free time on short notice.  I would hope for the best, but expect her to say, I'm sorry but I'm not available.

I'm sure he got at least a few pm's.

There are some lurkers both providers & hobbyists.

Just reading the replies.  I actually did get a PM; she was not available at that time, however.

I have used in a few occasions.   Typically after a cancel or no show.   Usually lets me connect with someone quickly who is openvs hunting thru ads.

 Don't use often, but they can be very effective
