Do most of you gentlemen search for companions on Eros or TER.

I'm trying to decide if it is worthwhile to renew my Eros ad.

Any suggestions?

You appear to be lovely. I think you should stick with TER.  Lately, it seems that almost 40% of new ads on EROS appear to be in the TS arena.  I think that's a different sport.

I used to use Eros when I first started in the hobby, but haven't used them in ages. I got disillusioned with the constant fake ads and misrepresentations.

I use Eros to find an upscale companion for the first time, and BP for the less expensive companion, again for the first time. But in my old age I am more content with visiting a regular, than with finding a new companion. I realize that many of my peers are constantly looking for a new friend, so they peruse ads more than me.

As in any business decision, it all comes down to cost vs reward

I have no idea what an EROS ad costs, but lets say (as example) it's $300 a month. Thats one/ one hour  encounter with you. If you can verify that 4 gentlemen contacted you directly due to that ad,. then yes, it's worth it (imho)

OTOH, if the ad only generates one call per month, then I would say no, as it's a push ($300 spent to make $300)

I'd suspect that, with all the resources of TER,  this audience isn't a big user of Eros.  Except when there's a link to a really cute redhead.

As a business major, I am quite familiar with the cost/benefit assessment that you discuss.  What I am asking here is more about market research.  I am trying to get an idea about the medium that different type of men prefer.  I know what my target is and I feel reasonably certain that I am reaching that target, but as a business woman I am always open to new avenues.

If you have to make a choice, I pay more attention to the ad posts on TER than ad posts elsewhere.

But what exactly are you personally looking for in a companion and why do you feel that TER is a better choice for that search?  Those are the true questions here.

Didn't mean to tell you something you already knew. I think like most here I use many "sources" to find and determine if I want to see a provider.
That stated, I would think the only way for you to really know if it's worth it is to poll your new clients as to how they discovered you (TER, Eros, word of mouth)  and go from there

I don't trust Eros, but I'll admit to looking at the new listings.  If someone there piques my interest I'll check here and on P411 before even thinking of seeing them.  When I feel the urge and search for a short-term companion, I usually look here and P411, but I'll admit to also looking at Backpage as well.

I would say that 80-90% of the gents that I see initially found me on Eros and then then go to TER to do a search for my reviews. That being said, I think Eros is a good marketing tool. There are alot of guys who do not use the regional boards( such as Atlanta). In fact I am surprised that alot of gentlemen are not even aware of the discussion boards, and solely use TER to do review searches.

This is just my oppinion of course, but I would suppose by that asking this question here, where we have regular posters (and a lovely group thay are), that their viewpoint might be slightly different than if you were to ask every gentleman you met where they initially found you.

Your website is tastefully done, by the way. I think it might be a good idea to keep the Eros ad. But then again, I believe each lady has to find her own niche and find what works best for her.

I tend to look at EROS, CityVibe, Escorts.com and Datecheck to look for visiting providers who may not come to TER. But, no matter where I find some one, I usually make sure they have at least a few reviews here before I make a date.  I actually met Taylor4you (see above) through Eros and my first EVER experience back before she was indi..  I think Eros tends to get the first timers, those who have been in the hobby are already here.
As for why I pick TER and the search: because I don't hobby as near as much as some of the guys here and I want to make sure I get as close to my ideal as possible.  A great date can linger on my mind for months (unfortunately, so can the bad one's). The things that make a date for me are dfk, multi's, and bbbj.  All else goes into consideration, but those three are my biggest. If I find some one I think is great, but doesn't kiss,,,,well, I'm out of luck.  I do tend to give the benefit of the doubt to ladies when reading reviews and services.  You have to read them and figure an average (usually done with a slide rule, dry erase board, and some physics formulas that I won't bore you with here).  Anyway, my advice would be to start asking clients where they saw your ad, and figure what works for you (I would try to stick to the one's I mentioned above).  Best of Luck!

I think most of my clients have come from EROS but I was very curious about the gentlemen that frequented TER.  I definitely have my answer and I am very pleased with the amount of responses.

I will continue with EROS.  All my favorite men have come from there and I don't think I would have met them any other way.

I agree that when finding an entertainment partner, you need to get exactly what you like.

If you should ever want a redhead that loves to kiss and everything else your list, keep me in mind.  I am only an A cup though so if you require a larger cup size then I guess I would not qualify.

Renae - Very valid question, and I agree with a few of the other comments. Eros can be used to get some basic information, especially for visiting providers, but TER provides the important details. For me, consistently good reviews are the first thing to look for, and then the little details in the reviews. Not the alphabet of activities, but the way she makes her partner feel. If the conclusion of the review states he'll be back, or is already planning his next visit then I usually know what I needed to know. I look forward to meeting you....

Advisor:  Cityvibe as a craigslist replacement?  I thought bp had that position and even lower at times.

Renae:  A lady such as yourself should do fine with the combination of EROS and TER.  You are in good quality company in that combination.

I have met a few ladies vie eros who were incredible, but in each instance, I verified them inTER before I ever made the call.

Every time I have have been hit with a rip off, incredible bad service, ala carte bs, or scam, it was always from an eros ad I did not properly vet out with research on TER

Anymore, if I see an ad on eros and there is no ter link to tell me about the session with a reasonable body of reviews, I will not call no matter how nice the ad is.

However, Eros has one of the nicest high level scanning site available, so in a new city I will usually start there as Cityvibe is becoming strange, almost like a craiglist replacement.
