I had confirmed an appointment with Caitlin Kincaid for 1:00 on Friday, August 26th, and took off ½ day of work so I wouldn’t be rushed and because she hadn’t booked the hotel incall yet, I didn’t know how long it would take me to drive to the location. The night before she let me know the location, but at approximately 11:00 the day of, I get a “… can we do 2:00, I hate to ask, but I’m running late….”, so I said sure, no big deal since I had taken ½ the day off. Then at a few minutes until 2:00 I get a text (of course I was already at the hotel) that she had to cancel due to a family situation and she had to drive to South Carolina. Okay, you can’t argue with that (even when you have your doubts, what can you do?), so I just thought fine, I’ve heard she is flaky from others and to expect on again/off again attempts to schedule but that she can be worth it. She informed me she would contact me when she returned to Atlanta so we could reschedule.
I waited until Sept 9 and didn’t hear a word. Again, no big deal, so I sent a pm to see if she was interested in rescheduling. She replied with an apology that she had not contacted me and that she had been “super busy renovating her house” but she was working that weekend if I wanted to get together. I couldn’t, but received another PM from Caitlin that Sunday night - “Ok, this week I'm around all week… Let's play.. I'm offering you a $300 hour session since I've been so difficult”.
Feeling like Charlie Brown with Lucy holding the football, we agreed on 4:00 yesterday (Wed.), I took another ½ day off work and Caitlin confirmed that morning and said she would text me the hotel name/address around 2:30. 2:30 came and went, and I sent a few texts, one of which I explained I really needed to know a location by 3:00 in order to make a 4:00 appointment. Nothing. I started calling at 3:00 and got voice mails for ½ hour and then decided to call Caitlin from a phone she wouldn’t recognize. Yes, you guessed it, she answered. I hung up, but she must have realized her screw up and I got a text immediately: “Sorry, I didn’t realize my phone had died and I didn’t get your texts/calls.” I asked her if she didn’t realize it was dead when she was supposed to contact me at 2:30? She then said she fell asleep and that is why she didn’t contact me then! I then asked Caitlin if she fell asleep at the hotel or at home? She answered home and then realized she had been caught in lies.
She has apologized, asked if she could make it up to me with ½ off any session duration, etc, etc, but who in their right mind would fall for that a third time? I have wasted a good deal of my very valuable time on someone who believes her time and life is much more important than anyone else’s, and yes I am pissed. I calculate my income to be about $2,500 a day and took two ½ days off. How the hell can she possibly make it up to me?
Okay, whiteknights. Take your best shot, but I hope I’ve prevented someone else from making the same stupid mistake I made. Screw me once, she on you, screw me twice, …..
Its hard to believe it though she has such a great reputation, numerous hobbyist have recommended her. I say give her another chance surely she will make it up to you.
Why would he want to try again. It's time to move on. There are So many great ladies in Atl that JP will never miss her. This behavior is completely unacceptable.

Drug use is a really shitty thing to accuse someone of. Are you going to be one of THOSE providers that slings mud and makes wild unfounded accusations against other providers in a futile attempt to get more appointments for yourself? If so, you might want to take a few notes from your predecessors on this very board- if you are going to be a bitch, do it with style! Don't bore the audience or gross them out with details of your illness, because the entertainment value of your posts will be the only value of your posts. Keep in mind that less is more- don't make EVERY post a shameless self-promotion that's totally unrelated to the topic- it's too obvious, and your audience will see straight through it. When trying to ruin another provider's reputation, subtlety is key. Just say no to outright accusations, like drug use, unless you can back it up. And of course, always use caution when slinging mud. It has a nasty habit of flying right back in your own face.

She apparently has some sort of a positive reputation, but there's no mistaking that she flaked on you. It could be that she sensed some kinda *red flag* from your conversations and didn't have the nerve to just decline the appointment. If that was the case, then it makes no sense to offer you a "make it up to you" appointment.
I'd expect more professional behavior, for the price point, if not just demonstrating common courtesy.
Maybe she's just still enamoured with that new "toy" that she's been bragging about. I say just move on and forget about the discounted / "let me make it up to you" offer. Remember the definition of insanity? What pisses me off more than anything is the rates that these women charge (and with a straight face I might add) in this economy and yet have no value for a clients time or efforts. Don't think for a second that if you had done her the way that she has you, that your name wouldn't have ended up on the Atlanta Blacklist.
Without all of JP's details I've had virtually the same experience with CK. In fact, I am at home now because she NCNS on a meeting at 6:00 this evening. Our previous session, she called me as I was walking into the hotel to tell me she had an emergency at home and couldn't stay. At least now I know her behavior isn't about me.
The part that aggravates me is the lost time. Hobbiests do our own preparations; scheduling work so we can get away, grooming, buying the bottle of champagne I like, going to the bank to be sure I have the funds, getting an envelope, big and small stuff, some is even stupid stuff but it is what we do to make the get together what we want it to be.
I rarely post about my activities but Proctor's post was too coincidental to not comment on. I appreciate everybody being patient with my vent.
Not to make light of your misfortune, but the Charlie Brown analogy was funny! I am sorry that happened to you, and bravo to you on having the sack to tell it here. (you too, Roanoke and Squeezeum) Like you, it takes me half a day to hobby. But if NCNS happens, I call someone else and usually manage to make another appointment. That way the time spent away from other obligations doesn't go to waste.
I had unique event causing the first nsnc, another provider interfered. Second time, we had an address issue, too many of same hotel brands in same area.
Had the reasons not been unusual and partly my fault, I may mot have given her third try. My back up sessions with ladies I tried impromptu (watch list and regular that were available and willing to take short notice calls) were great, so I was not left unfulfilled. Once we talked, I was able to get my big head around tryingone more time.
So for me, the story had happy endings with each nsnc. The third time was a four hour session, and well worth the price I paid. No problem with subsequent scheduling. If you have not had provider make up sex, you might be missing something.
As to rest of comments, I would always have a back up plan when working with indies. In last two years, I have had maybe 12 nsnc or very late cancellations. Only twice with agencies. Some extremely high profile indies are in that list of nsnc. The classiest lady of bunch, called me shortly before scheduled session, offered me a choice of deep discount next time, or she had a girl friend willing to take call. I threw dice on the friend, great time with a utr lady I still see.
Face it, nsnc is part of business, you can roll with it and play the wheel for impromptu sessions, or let it consume you and ruin your outlook. I have generally had good luck on the rebound, but I am usually prepared
Interestingly, a friend whom was having a birthday last week asked me to do a search for him. Knowing what he likes she was my choice for him. When he contacted her there was some nonsense about phone problems. This broad has no class and does not deserve your company.
This bitch clearly is a doper, classic drug addict behavior. I guess that is why I like to stick with ladies that have longevity in the business like Payton or Sammie Jo. These new, young, hot chicks always turn out to be pains in the ass!

The the other corner Tiny: Pro - Hot, inexpensive, you can count on her to be laying there... Con - Poor reviews, considered a lower lever provider, post on well you know, and you can count on her to be laying there...
I had very similar experience with this lady. Swore I would never play the fiddler three tune with her, but.......
I did. (busty blondes, are like chocolate at a weight loss clinic, eventually they overwhelm your will power)
Third time was the charm and the session was amazing. She left me extremely well sated.
Hate that she has this tendency, but her make up sex session was really hot. I would consider scheduling her, but schedule early so you have options. Also, my experience with her show longer time sessions seem to have more success than short.
So not white knighting her, I cannot tell you how pissed off I was the to times she nsnc, but once I understood all the factors, and the thing that scared her off first time, I was able to find willingness to try third time.
...the bottom line is that these type of blow-offs are nothing more than someone believing their time is more important than anyone else's. Between the op's examples and squeezums post below, I haven't seen one example where the basic common courtesy of a 2 second text to explain the situation would have been too much to ask.

In my instances with Caitlin, I had communication, sometimes late, but we had contact. I did not like the message, but I knew. On the first instance, where someone else was screwing with us in not fun hobby way, she finally did show up, but I had someone else minutes away and told her no. hence I had culpability on the nsnc.
I get pissed when it happens. I understand the reaction. However, I also try to understand the why. In my situation with Caitlin, there were mitigating factors both times and she really did make it up to me. I think sqeezum situation below, might be similar situation. This feels like first time for those ladies and perhaps informed tolerance is reasonable.
In this thread there may be a pattern. My fact pattern may be the exception, I dont know, not passing judgement, not being white knight, just clarifying my encounters with her since an allias made issue of my review/experience. When we finally met, it was very good.
Nsnc and late cancels are not uncommon with indies in Atlanta. You need to be prepared. Shit happens, things change. If she communicates and we have adult conversation, and she is classy about the event, I will give second chance, even third in right situation. As often as my travel schedule changes, perhaps i am more tolerant. However, if there is lack of communication and adult ownership, yes, I will be pissed and post appropriately. You cannot be rigid in you reactions unless you know the fact pattern.
In my situation, this lady had valid factors, made it up to me, and has been reliable in subsequent communication, regardles of what the allias poster was trying to imply above. That is all I am trying to say, but I agree with sir cum, communication is the key

I don't think most providers could give a flying rip whether they stand someone up or not. There's always another one of us out there to his place and they all know that. The other thing to consider is that there's still lots of guys out there who don't know that this website exists and they have no source for information as to how a girl performs, whether she's dependable, etc. I saw a girl for a while who stood me up a couple of times and the only reason I put up with it was because the sex was off the charts once I was able to hook up with her. My all-time favorite provider quote however is, "Regulars are a dime a dozen."

I will say, IMHO, from the outside looking in, it could be seen as certain ones who are doing extra good might be having their faults flown a little higher on the flag pole so everybody sees it. I mean there is a reviewer only venue for you to post this stuff.
And before anybody says it I'm not sticking up for CK. After a few emails with her I decided to pass, but that was all on me, not her. She gets those marks for some reason so I probably messed up.
