When you on the ladies Eros page, scroll all the way down to the bottom of her ad, and look in the lower right corner, it will say "click to create a direct link".  When you do that, you will have a pop up box come up with a direct link to her page.  Simply cut and paste that link into your post here, and when we click on it, it goes right to her page without having to scroll through all the other ads.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

if there is a specific picture you want to include, you should be able to click on it to bring it to its own page, then copy and paste that address bar contents to the post and you should get the desired photo linked. Give it a try.

It works for me. I can right click on EROS and other websites.
If you don't use firefox you should, but I am sure IE has a similar function.

Happy new year to all!

I used to be able to right click and get a link for a photo in an eros ad that I could then include in a post on the board here.

Right clicking is now disabled.  How can I work around this.  I really wanted to include a link for Alexandra to help anyone trying to answer my post below.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Martin

Thanks for that solution.

I saw that.  Another way to do that is to simply copy the address bar.  I did link the whole ad.

I wanted to post a picture link that would make the selected photo appear in my post.   That way it would be easy for anyone reading the post to see immediately who I was talking about.  I used to do this regularly but now I find that the right click is no longer an option.

Thanks again.   Anyone else got a solution?

This works on many ad sites but not on eros.  When you click a photo from an ad on eros, it brings up a slideshow of all the photos in front of the actual ad.  You aren't allowed to right click on these either.

I should mention that I typically run firefox so I'm not sure about other browsers but this is how eros functions in firefox.

Still hoping for a solution.  I'm guessing this would be helpful to all.

Thanks,
Martin.

making sure that their image can't be taken from EROS and used by someone else.

Like you said, the protection is there for a reason so I'm not sure I should say how. It looks like someone posted another viable alternative in this thread as well. There are enough fraudulent people using others' pictures as it is.

I've done it occasionally for TinEye hits.

It might just be me but I think a link to the EROS ad itself is sufficient, which it looks like you did anyway.

Don't mind the alias, I have no reputation on TER anyway so feel free to take what I say with a grain of salt. But I'm sure you guys don't need me to tell you that nothing you ever post on the Internet for the public to view is ever really safe. :(

Assuming you are using Firefox, if you are not you need to download and install Firefox.

After installing, go to tools--->Content---->Enable Java Script--->Advanced and uncheck Disable or Replace Context Menus

Will work like a champ.

You might need to get the latest version.

The method is goofy method used to by dimwit Web Developers to disable Contextual menus (right click gives contextual menus) and used with DHTML (Dynamic HTML) Java Script library, you can down load the script from Microsoft an many other sites which web developers include in the HTML code and equal number of script is available for disabling it also on the web, just takes understanding Java and Java script.

For those who don't want to go through all the hassle, use Firefox and configure as follows:

Go to:

Tools--->Content---->Enable/Disaable Jave Script_----> Advanced----> and Uncheck Disable or Replace Context menus.

This enables a built in Java Script in Firefox which is just one line of code.

Nothing magical about protecting photos. Guess what, those who steal already knows what to do and how to do it. Eros is just giving false sense of security.

For instance, if you look at Jem with friends, top pic has no hits on tineye possibly because too much of it was cropped out, however the second, and third pics down are clearly stolen.  Not saying Jem and friends aren't hot, I've never met them, but why use fake pics when you've been around so long?  I don't get it.

Thanks to all in the community who reached out to help.

I got one pm and the suggestion to look at add ons for firefox which is my browser of choice anyway.

When I read the last reply and tried the suggestion, it took care of the problem with nothing further needed.

As to the idea that it will enable others to steal pictures from eros, please be assured that I have no desire to do that nor do I want anyone else to have that ability so I certainly see the hesitation to help on that level.

Happy new year to you all and thanks again!
