I remember it being Alias for the boards but not to write reviews. I guess if I if I was that pressed about what someone thinks I probably just wouldn't write the review at all.

Not sure if this has been asked before but I have wondered for a good little while now why we need an alias for an alias? Im quite sure you would have guess my name clearly isn't Bedroombully28.  I didn't even know you could use them to write reviews and have heard that some of us reviewers use this because they don't want there ATF's to know that they have seen someone else? Just wanted to know what the use of them was for. I may start to use one myself. Only bad thing is sometimes people use them to talk down about people and I think that is a coward way to do things in my opinion. Also are providers allowed to use them also?

I guess it goes with the territory....people want to hide from hiding....kind of crazy....

If we can live without them everywhere else, we can live without them  here.

Not a fan of aliases!

The visions of the founder made TER the best review site on the net, bar none. The alias function was a move that created honesty and open discussions while PROTECTING hobbyists. With that protection gone it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it is a board killer and has not done shit to make the boards a "happier place"

Some of the other boards/sites knowing allow users to create multiple names and some of them just don't care. Using multiple handles is really no different then using aliases here.
