What an excellent, thoughtful question.  And good market research btw.  And a possible peek into us gents' twisted minds.  

These are just my thoughts, I can only answer for myself but generally the reason is...

1) She may not have enough reliable reviews.  There are some newbies that I am interested in but I like to see several verifiable reviews before I take the leap.  My TOFTT days are long behind me.  Well, hopefully.  Building a good provider reputation can take a while and sometimes that comes into play.

2) Like most guys I have time and budgetary constraints.  I have limited timeslots and dollars to fill them up with lovely ladies.  Sometimes I'm booked for a month out depending on my (and her) schedule.  It's important for me to keep my commitments so it can sometimes be challenging to work in someone new.  In fact, when I see someone new it's usually closely correlated to me receiving a last minute cancellation from someone else.

3) Sometimes our schedules just don't sync up.  There are a couple of ladies that I've had on my radar for a while but it seems like they are busy when I'm free (and vice versa).

4) I like to do some research which involves reading reviews, backchanneling, and chatting up the ladies.  Which I really like to do.  Shocker.    Sometimes it can take a while before a girl makes it to the top of a gentleman's roster.  And sometimes it can take a while before a guy finds that perfect next date.

And how long?  It's hard to say.  I've had some high dollar hotties on my list for a couple of years now.  Lol.  They are on my "when I hit the lotto I'm definitely going to see" list.  Do those count?

Ah, we gents are such fickle creatures.

Maci you are on my TER favorites list along with 45 other Atlanta providers that have caught my eye for various reasons. Then you have the touring providers who frequent Atlanta. You might offer a special, I might actually see you at meet and greet, or a hot photo might trigger a date request. Reviews don't count for much due to lots of fiction. Regular providers capture most of my time. I am very happy with them so not much incentive to hit much new action. So will I see you in the future. Maybe , but no telling when.

that the comings and goings make the "list" a dynamic entity.  Ladies at the top retire or disappear.  A new end-all hottie moves to ATL or announces a visit.  A lady who disappeared while at the top of the list suddenly reemerges.  There was a young hottie I chatted up at a M&G three years ago and put near the top of the to-do list, but every time I was about to pull the trigger she'd disappear for a while.  So, for me at least, it is really easy for a girl to be near the top of my list for a long time.  Just a matter of how events unfold.

Unless she works for an agency that knows me and I'm comfortable with, I usually wait until she updates her photos at least once. I do that to make sure the the original photos are recent.  Plus, im uncomfortable meeting new people, especially attractive women, so it takes time to build up the courage to call someone new.

This has led me to miss out on some favorites who retired before I could see them - like spencer hastings (she looked way TGTBT and i never called).  I got lucky with Mallory (petite redhead a while back) - she dropped off my radar and showed up as an exotic flavor.  sometimes, it just takes a long time (a few months) due to schedule conflicts like it did with charli from heaven's.

i wouldnt say i have a lot of on my list at any time. i only have 3 (and they all look so perfect that it's a little intimidating).

So for me, it depends on my travel and work schedules. I will have to admit that I have two Someday lists. I am a very visual guy, so when someone catches my eye, they go on the first list. Sometimes, if I am going to be in their area and they are free it just happens. But, often I spend a little time trying to get a feel for the person from her posts. I rarely read reviews.

If a person is on my radar, it can be either both positive or negative.

1.  If I am really anxious to see her but I am not necessarily sure of everything she does what her best qualities, I will usually wait for a few reviews and then if I like them I will take the plunge.

2.  On the other hand, she may have some questionable reviews in which some guys haven't had the greatest experience, yet sometimes different providers react differently with others.  So I will wait again for the track record and see what happens after several reviews.

Most of the time it's the first one.  However, being cautious is not uncommon.

When someone catches my eye I usually start with their reviews, check out if they post on the board and what they have to say.  Then check their website and read it throughly.  I try to get a good feel for them before asking for an appointment. Great question Maci!  And happy early birthday!

I think I lurked around for about 2 years before I decided to take my initial plunge. In that time many girls came and went and were replaced or added back to my short list. The other issue I had more than anything was references. This agency wouldnt take that one or this girl wouldnt use that agency or an agency wouldnt take a provider with 70 reviews. That was probably the biggest hassle and one of the main reasons some girls had to be on my radar for awhile before visiting.
