Question: Appointment Cancellationsad_smile

I had scheduled an appt recently for a provider that was touring in ATL.  I had a change in travel plans and had to cancel.  I emailed her 4 days in advance to notify her.  I was told if I ever wanted to schedule again I would have to pay in advance.

Is 4 days unreasonable?  I would not think so but, maybe for a touring lady it is if she has already paid for her travel expenses.  I don't know.

She can run her business how she sees fit, regardless of the community's opinions.  If you find it unreasonable, just don't see her.  If you find it acceptable, pay in advance and enjoy the lady on her return visit.

IMHO, I think 4 days is plenty of notice.. Hell, an hour is enough notice in some cases (regulars).  But every lafy does things her own way and we really can't spend time worrying about things we can't change..

It is what it is, friend and kudos to you for giving advance and not canceling last minute or NCNS.

Yeah, its really just up to her.  And hopefully paying in advance the next time will be okay since you know you won't no-show her a second time.  And Dakota is really accommodating in more ways than one if you choose to see her...;)

It will be your call in the future.
