On the boards and in sessions there has been lots of chatter lately bout providers and fake reviews.. I am from Alabama so I guess I am country dumb, but I didnt think anyone would do that, but with all that has come to light lately seems it is more abundant than I would have ever imagined..I could never imagine asking someone to write a review for me. or doing a fake one on myself.. so..  I was wondering you guys .. what is your opinion. what percentage of the reviews are real .. what percentage is fake..(provider written)..or (promise enduced)..

On this board, I think 50% of the reviews are fake or "enhanced". By enhanced, I mean things were added so that the review would be accepted. One problem is people will post fake reviews to get VIP status, so you have guys posting reviews of people they never saw, just to get the 15 day credit. You also have providers or people that have an interest (agency owner, web site designer, etc) in them posting reviews as well. This has been pointed out plenty of times here and on other boards.

I believe as a hobbyist, it is important to do your research. Look at her reviews, talk to other hobbyists, talk to other providers, and be very objective when selecting a provider. I prefer to stick with the providers that have a proven track record or reputation. Just to name a few, include Deanna, Sofia, Lundon, Tasha, Mellissa, Gen, Kharmyn, Monette, Loni and so on. Don't be afraid to ask another provider(tactfully) about someone you are considering seeing. I have found that many providers can recommend someone that fits you interest. It would be foolish to look at a review and then go see a provider without having done any more research. Keep your eyes and ears open, be safe and let's have fun.

The "fake review of someone never seen" is a particular problem for ladies that have been around for a while and already have lots of reviews.  It's just too easy for a guy to look up an old review, rewrite it in his own words, and submit it as his own.

One way around all the fakes might be to require at least one paid membership period in order to begin posting reviews, and then just allow posted reviews to count towards extending the membership after the paid period expires.  Even though a good review is probably worth much more than one quarter's membership, having to part with some up-front money might be enough to discourage the casual fakers.
