There is a surgery scheduled for me this week to have an arachnoid cyst located in the third ventricle of the brain to be removed. It is four to six weeks for recovery. The lights on the computer give me slight headache so I avoid it the last few weeks. I will not be back to read responses (if any) to this post. Also, I do not much feel like chatting on the telephone. I apologize for not returning phone calls if any of those callers happen to read this message. Email is backed up and as I wrote, get headache from the lights. I have been staying in touch with Heidi Mueller, Strike3, and Christopher of atlantacomfort.com.
She made it through the surgery just fine but will be in icu at least for the evening. I will ask her in the morning what her preferences are but I have a good idea of what her respone will be.
I hesitate at adding this comment but right now she is a very depressed woman. But, anyone would be if they were faced with her situation.
I am not sure if this board is the right place to let the concerned friends know of her statis but if you do want to know you can pm me and I will let you know.
As I did last time I will let her know about everyone who sends their thoughts and prayers.
She is a very stong willed and independant woman who doesn't want anyone to worry about her and I beleive and pray that her recovery will be swift and complete.

Having competent doctors and nurses, quality medical care, adequate health insurance, and friends and family who will care for and pray for her can be worth more than their weight in gold.
