Terri is probably one of the exceptions these days.  I always liked making "first contact" by email, since it's non-interuptive (the lady can answer when she likes, instead of right then when the phone is ringing), you can be long-winded if you like (the lady can just skim the message if she doesn't want to read a long one), and you can get/read the reply whenever it suits you best.  Also, it's easier to carry on a conversation by email/IM when you're at work or home, then it is to talk on the phone.

However, most providers don't seem to want to bother with email these days.  Some I know will read their mail, but never answer unless you specifically come out and say you want an appointment at a particular day/time.

From the little I know I think none of us know the multitude of messages our special Atlata Ladies have to deal with whether it be phone or e-mail messages.
Every guy is looking for a response, and I believe they want to respond to all.
