Considering Atlanta for my first tour city in 2 wks and curious where is the best area for a provider to stay? Recommendations would on restaurants and hotels would be greatly appreciated! I love all kinds of food but which restaurants are local favorites?
Some of my favorite memories are from the W, Intercontinental, and JW Marriott in Buckhead. They are all close to Lenox Mall (easy parking for your new friends), accessible, and reasonably priced. I usually arrive early so i grab a drink at the the bar and have always been comfortable. Many great restaurants and shopping in walking distance. There is a Marta stop nearby so yo could go downtown or to the park without a car.
Lots of financial and consulting companies nearby, and convenient for people who would do something other than wait in traffic. Hope you make it to ATL. Ken
