Having a bit of trouble though with the clips of Heidi and myself to get them to play (they were filmed early 2003). Added some more of the Greek film clips that I have never posted before. If you went to a movie theater in the 30s and 40s, you would see the "Movietone News" which was sort of a CNN only the news was what had happened the week before!! This was followed by "trailers" which was a preview of the films soon to be released. Then this was followed by a cartoon, and then a "serial" which was about 10-15 minutes long and usually was a western or a so-called horror film which lasted about 10-15 minutes and came to an abrupt end with the main character about to come to his death and ended on that note 'til the next chapter which would be shown a week later. The main character would be shown going over a cliff, or about to be eaten by a lion or tiger, and you wouldn't know what happened until the following week.It was a "teaser" and was designed to get you to come back to the theater a week later...... therefore, since you didn't know what would befall the "hero", it was a "cliffhanger".

Jolie dear, this really dates me. The idea was to always leave the movie-goer wondering what would happen next, so you went back to the theater the following week to see the outcome. Usually, the hero mysteriously avoided the fall over the cliff or being killed by the lion.... but at the end of the serial there was always another "cliffhanger".

When you change your website, by adding motion picture clips, the reader is left wondering what is going to happen next.That's what I meant when I said that you had me hooked. I'm anxiously waiting for your next chapter or website. You are doing what the film-makers did 60 years ago, and that is entertainment.

First, would like to say that I like the idea of me leading the pack. This is due to the Master (or leader of the pack) always eats first.
