Happy Beltane!

(Sorry if this is all a repeat from "another" board):

Well, It looks like I've finally gotten up the nerve to announce my temporary break is a permanent one ... It'll be a pay cut for sure, but like The Fool of the Tarot, I've decided to just take that leap of faith off the cliff and trust that Goddess and the universe will provide for me as I begin the next chapter in my bizarre "writer's" life!

I really wasn't planning on writing one of these quasi-sappy bye bye notes, but what the hell ...

My life has been truly magickally and spiritually blessed by this biz. I've met some of the most interesting people I've ever met, and I hope to remain friends with many of them for a long time to come. The money has allowed me to get a lot of things I direly needed, like a new computer, new clothes, and new furniture -- Hell, I was sleeping on a $75 used futon before!!

When I got fired from my day job in November, this biz allowed me to take the kind of vacation from work that most folks tied to the corporate grind could only dream of. I've had months to have lots of fun and plan for what I want to do next ...

As recent luck would have it, some friends of mine are offering me financial, organizational and moral support to help me accomplish my long-time goal of running my own business in selling imported/vintage/unique/rare clothes, collectibles, music and books on eBay, and maybe even open a store ... Plus, I have some other opportunities in "naughty" modeling and acting I'm pursuing (LOL!) ... So might as well jump now in case the ship doesn't come around again ...

P.S. -- Now don't get me wrong -- this biz was a hair-pulling ulcer-inducing ordeal at plenty of times. I could go on for awhile about the various reasons I'm hanging up my garters. But I still consider myself blessed -- I was never beat up, raped, significantly ripped off or arrested. I just feel it's best to get out now before I get jaded, cos I could already see it coming ...
