The spam mail and even text messages from being on this site is unreal. And now over the last few weeks it’s email after email of gentlemen supposedly wanting a multiple hour dates to get my attention. Once I respond, they say their email isn’t secure and they attach a link that looks like you’d go to the site to a members area to message there. Tryst does have messaging but I’ve never really used it.

From the previous scams, I have never clicked on any of the links to know what it does. I’m figuring it would want me to put in my username and password. I still don’t understand because it not like I have much on the site.

That’s not all of the scam. In every instance that I responded to the emails, when they are sending the link to message more privately than email they want to pay fully for the date ahead of time and ask my preferred payment method. I’m very well aware of all kinds of scams that try to get to people banking information.

Are people really falling for this stuff? I’ve marked all these as spam and the emails, even though it’s always a different email address, are now going to my spam.

They are relentless! Someone has to be doing this for them to keep trying.

Ladies, I assume it’s happening to any lady that’s on tryst correct?

While I’m here, last week I had a gentleman contact me and when I asked about screening he said he saw me in Dunwoody back in 2015/2016. I apologized and explained I  didn’t know the number and the name while common, wasn’t someone that had been a regular of mine. So I explain I would need to screen him again. He sent one text back saying have a great day.

Now anyone could look at my reviews and determine I was working out of Dunwoody back then. And he didn’t even try to offer something specific about him. This is also not the first time it’s happened. So my question is for the gentlemen, if you decided to see someone you hadn’t seen in years and they didn’t remember you would you be offended by having to screen again? I’m super careful with screening and probably miss out on dates because I’m so scared of something happening, screening has really changed over the years. Well the process hasn’t but gentlemen being willing definitely has!

Anyways, thanks for reading and I appreciate any responses! I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year’s and here’s to 2026 being the best year ever!! 🤪😘😍

I only have my website link on my ad there. No email. No phone number. That cuts out most of the spam, scams, and stupid bullshit.

You are 1000% correct to be cautious

Of someone is already communicating with you via email or text why would they need you to click links to go to another avenue of communication

As for double screening because years had gone by since you last saw someone?
It’s happened to me a couple of times

A very minor annoyance but you ladies aren’t Bank of America
You can’t be expected to keep every “transaction” you’ve ever had for decades on end!

Fake ads, fake reviews, deposits, photoshopped or AI enhanced pics....scamsters are ruining this for all of us.

I do know you gentlemen have had to deal with fakes for a long time. I’ve just never had another site lead to so much spam mail. This scam about looking for a date is new like within the like two months. But I’ve been getting spam mail related to tryst since I started advertising on it. Tryst is aware and has email that we do not put out login info on any site unless we go to ourselves.

Back in 2022, the phishing scammers got me. Like an idiot, my password was the same for ALL my logins. So, they not only got my Tryst, but they got my proton mail, Twitter, and a couple other ad sites. The phishing scammer text me saying if I wanted my accounts back, I had to pay $3k. I didn’t pay, and just put in support tickets asking to revert to my original gmail that I had signed up with. I was able to get them back after several days, but it was such a hassle.

When I got my Twitter back, I saw how the scammer was messaging all my followers, asking them to book appointments and asking for a deposit. They were also panhandling on my Twitter. I don’t think any of my clients fell for the deposit scam. I got many texts from clients asking if I was asking for money, but they knew something was fishy because the scammer didn’t speak in full sentences or use punctuation like I normally do.

There are so many scam farms overseas. I saw a report about it on John Oliver sometime last year. Some of the scammers are being labor trafficked.

Cristin,
As someone who has enjoyed the company of the lovely ladies in Atl for 3 years I would never get offended if the lady asks for screening information again. Safety works both ways and I think u did the right thing by asking the gentleman for further screening.

I simply block them & never respond. I do get bookings off tryst by paying for premium to advertise in 3 cities.

If a gent will not screen again that’s your decision because it’s your business. People change, so vetting is very important.

Safety is my primary concern as a single Mother. Peace is priceless.

Even though you asked the gents, I'll respond regarding rescreening...

That guy was trying to trick you into seeing him without screening. If he had actually screened to see you in the past, he should have no problem doing so again.

I can’t believe the dude expects to waltz in based on 1 “meeting “ 10+ yrs ago

It might be very light screening if I remember him or if I have a clear record of meeting. But, one time I had an impostor try to trick me by using his friend's hobby phone! So now I always re-screen after a few years.

Tryst has scammer emails almost daily for me. I've just gotten in the habit of deleting them. Never once has a message from Tryst turned into an appointment, so DELETE!

They have gotten quite clever with the emails, but the links are definitely a give away.

I just got another one last night and the guy stated he wanted a 3-hr date and wanted to plan for the weekend and he could only use the link on tryst because his wife has access to his email.. I sent his crap to tryst to let them know its STILL happening. But I never thought to remove my email and off of there, that's perfect. I did remove my number off there last year but that email is being deleted right now.

Thanks for that advice.

Stay safe out there ladies.
