The news report comes out two weeks after the blotter dates. It must have been the first slow news day since.
All those reported were adults charged with misdemeanors including the all-encompassing loitering. No reports of pandering. Not so much a task force for protecting children as a ploy to get federal money to help with the "hard-nosed" investigation required.
It seems ironic that the alleged "victim" of trafficking (thus creating a headline-worthy event) was an adult who was also arrested.
More irony is that location of the accused loitering was at PoPo HQ. Since the hotel where the alleged activity occurred assisted with the sting, that establishment gets some anonymity, but the accused do not get such protection.
