On several different occassions, there has been concern expressed about the "discretion" of the Board Meetings, since they are publically announced, everyone and anyone who finds out about them can attend, etc.

However, I can think of nothing less discreet than this crowd meeting in a "regular" bar or restaurant, and then some of the participants engaging in lewd and lacivious behavior.  Face it guys, a lot of us like to attend these gatherings for the cheap thrills of watching the ladies flash some skin, paw and kiss on each other, and occassionally kiss us or let us cop a feel.  And the fault (if any), can't be placed solely on the women, cause we're the ones buying them drinks and shooters and encouraging them.

In a strip club like the Pink Pony, this may draw the attention of some jealous guys (who want to know how they get to join the party) or some jealous dancers (who are trying to get paid for flashing skin and permitting a grope or two), but is otherwise just another bunch of adults carrying on in an adult manner in an adult establishment.  In Dave and Buster's, or Three Dollar Cafe (are there any of those left?), or any other "regular" place, it may draw the attention of nosy do-gooders who just might be offended enough to call the cops on the way out.  Even when such gatherings have been held in a private room of an otherwise open-for-regular-business establishment, they have attracted extra attention when the R-rated (and sometimes X-rated) activities begin.

I can understand the desire for more, and easier, conversation, so here's two ideas I'll throw out:

1) try switching to one of the less popular strip clubs, that would be thrilled to get an extra 20-30 customers on an otherwise slow Monday or Tuesday night, and in exchange would be willing to cut way back on the sound system volume.  Drawback: the quality and quantity of dancers, that both the guys *and* girls like to play with, is likely to be lower

2) alternate between gatherings at the Pink Pony (which can be the let-it-loose anything-goes someone-loses-his-shirt-in-the-VIP-room but-you-can't-hear-a-damn-thing-anyone-says nights) and a "regular" place (which can be the easy-to-hear-polite-conversation everyone-keeps-their-clothes-on-and-hands-to-themselves nights)
