Didn't know you were hearing negative feedback.  I like the new design--it's cleaner, and so far seems more responsive and quicker.  Saved searches is a great new feature, and the top 10 lists on the front page are fun.  That new star ranking that you've added to search results is also great.


One request:  please bring back the "view all" button for forum posts, it's a little tedious to have to read replys one at a time.

Review page with star rating is great at a glance.

you do have a link to classic ter is you want that!

the fact that there is a link to the old format for us to use.

Please do not eliminate it.

Good morning all, hope everyone is enjoying the new site....LOL

All kidding aside, I know there has been some strong negative feedback since we moved to the new design.  I want everyone to know that TER has kept a close eye on the situation and are working hard to implement some of your suggestions.  Afterall, our main focus is to keep our members happy and if you think otherwise, then I would have to say, you don't know us at all.  Having said this, obviously there will be suggestions that will require a complete rework of the entire site and those will either never come to fruition or will take some time to implement.  I just ask that you all bear with us as we strive to improve the site.

Sometimes, it is very easy to focus on the negatives and forget about the positives.  Therefore, I ask you all to take some time to note what you do like about the new site designs.  These comments will help us realize what we're doing right.  In the mean time, please be assured that we are working hard to try to implement as many of your suggestions as possible.  We are not a large web design company, we have limited resources so we kindly ask you all to bear with us.  Again, we appreciate your positive comments, so please post them here in this thread.

Darklove, I see NO REDEEMING FEATURES of the new site.  Please tell me what they are.

There's already a complaints thread, I am asking for positive comments to be posted in this thread.  If you don't have anything nice to say, then feel free to stay clear of here and dwell on the negatives.

I'm sure that I'm just over looking it but can you direct me to the "Classic TER" link that you refer to. I know Im going to have to get used to this look eventually, but would prefer the classic view until all of the wrinkles get ironed out.

Overall I like the new design.  Visually it is much more pleasing, the editing functions that others have commented on are a big improvement, and much of the other friction is typical of what you encounter with any IT change.  I do have to say that I prefer the old format for the board posts - in particular being able to see the responses to a post all together in outline form, and the "view all" function so you don't have to click on each reply to read it.  Otherwise it's a good change.

I do like how each topic is separated by colors (i.e one topic yellow, next topic white, next topic yellow).

The general information on the provider seems to be there.

Sorry, DL.. I can't think of that much more positive.  If any of the changes I suggested are implemented, I will make sure to thank the TER team.

After logging in, where the quicklinks are, where it's one click to see your past reviews.. that's nice..

Hey Dark...I like the new site design for the most part. My one question is why aren't new DB threads put at the top of the page. It really makes browsing the board difficult and inefficient.
