First let me say I am new to the hobby less than a year. I have met some lovely exceptional ladies and some not so. Overall I have truly enjoyed myself and look forward to 2011 meeting more. I recently read a review which I found unbelievable. Again I am new so maybe this is common but.... The reviewer raved how awesome the provider was, how she was such a goddess and how she really performed well. When he summarized however the focus turned to how his inability to perform embarrased and disappointed him. He stated that she truly deserved as high as a perfect score for her efforts, but he gave her a much lower score. How can this be? I understanding it is subjective, but to penalize a provider solely on his inabilty to form seems worse than wrong and the review is worfthless and should not of been written. Again new but am I wrong?

IMHO, as time goes by, you'll come to the realization that the only real use for reviews is to know that the person in question is somewhat legit.  Relying on numbers is pretty much like the lottery, you'll never really know what you'll get because of the subjectivity.  Reading the fictious accounts in the details is not much better because the majority seem to either embellish the language they choose as if to enhance their perceived relationship with the person, or on the other extreme, they chastize the person as if to punish for some personal reason.  Oh, and let's also know that even if every word is true, it's no guarantee that it would happen for you... So, as the saying goes, ymmv.  Always be skeptical and in some cases you'll be happily surprised and in others, you will not be so disappointed because you properly set your expectations beforehand.  Have fun.

Looks is subjective but according to TER guidelines performance is not. Certain things must take place or be on the menu for the ratings to be higher.  His ability to perform while not her fault may have prevented certain things from happening. Otherwise the review gets downgraded by the powers to be.

You do have to read between the lines.  If things did not work for him, it could be him or her.  Sometimes it is just a chemistry thing.  And, that could be on either side.  It is important to not judge a lady on just one review and pay attention to who is doing the review.  

Bottom line, take them with a grain of salt and not too seriously.  But overall, I find that there is some truth in all of the reviews.
