Not sure if there is anything you could do. I disagree with the other poster that someone would book just for the thrill. Thats what free internet porn is for. I think it's more likely that something came up at the last minute. A wife that decided "hey,,, it's your day off, lets go to lunch" or a child that last minute needed a ride to the mall picking up 4 friends on the way,,, or a boss that decided you have to work through your lunch break because HIS project is behind schedule

That stated, if they are No Show/ No Call (or text or e-mail) THEN I would be upset.

So I have a question that I'm hoping someone with more experience can help me with. Lately I seem to be having an issue with last minute cancellations or no shows (let me add that this hasn't been an issue with the gentleman of TER). I'm just curious as to if there is any advice on how to do a better job of avoiding these as it's beyond frustrating!  
Thank you in advance for any thoughts on this. :)

TER and P411 as a basic screening for clients.  No shows and last minute cancellations are probably from men who fantasize about sharing intimate time, but fall flat when time to act comes around.

No Shows and Last Minute Cancellations are part of any service oriented business. Screening more thoroughly and having a Black List ready for when NS's/LMC's contact you again is worthwhile.  

That said, I have had an actual emergency keep me from making it to an appt and one family emergency during an appt. so I quickly left. The provider even called me later to ask how things were going - nice touch.

Life Happens, and it's great to be considerate of that. Yet like Tartus indicated and I'll expound, some people are just impolite/inconsiderate of your feelings.
