or you are a victim of double booking, or she simply flaked out?
Just move on to the next, and be thankful that you were not NCNS'd.

I would say the flat tire story, is a result of double booking. She's drunk or she simple flaked out, those instances are rare.

I've experienced double booking, so I know the signs. As frozen-nuts stated just be thankful you were not NCNS'd.

And the truth is not always a good thing. To quote Tom Cruise in a few good men, you can't handle the truth lol!

This has happened twice and by different agencies. I've had an appointment set up, but when the provider is running late or unable to make it, I've been told that she has a flat tire. Now I suppose it's plausible that both girls ran into the same problem in the span of a few months, but it's seems like quite the coincidence. Maybe I'm being cynical, but has anyone else been told this? Just curious. If it isn't true, it's not exactly worst thing in the world. But I'd rather be told the truth.

In this city with the crap all over our roads, coupled with the extreme heat, it's perfectly feasible that two different people had flat tires at two different times.  The only people who know for certain are the two who made the flat tire claim.  I think you are best to accept the story and leave it be.  It is perfectly possible.  Now if they claimed the dog ate their outfits, that's a different story.

I would prefer the truth, even if it's unpleasant. I never like getting the runaround in any business deal. But as I said, I'm not really bothered too much about it. I was just curious if anyone had been told something similar.
