I am visiting Atlanta..and have NEVER gone out in this city lol. I love trying new "local" eatteries...what's some of the good ones in the area??

Love,

Hals in Buckhead, Ocean Prime in Buckhead,  Bones in Buckhead, Landmark diner, Imperial Fez, Nikolai's Roof.... there are so many great places to eat around town but these are a few of my personal favorites
Hope this helps :)

Hal's is delicious.  Hands down favorite.  For something more contemporary, I absolutely love Two Urban Licks, and also it's more sophisticated sister restaurant, One Midtown Kitchen.  Two Urban Licks has a brisket to die for, and all the appetizers at One Midtown Kitchen are out of this world.  Can't go wrong with either of those, but if you're a meat and potatoes girl, definitely go to Hal's.

Agave - really good

awesome food and drinks!

You have to try Antico. It is incredible and it is BYOB. Bring your wine or drink of your choice and they will provide the cups. Unique atmosphere and pizza that is out of this world.

brunswick stew at a local BBQ on Bells Ferry just south of Town Lake Called J D's BBQ.  The place is not for atmosphere but the BBQ is some of the best south of NC.  A lot of boaters from Alatoona go there or just up the road to Little River Cafe. Woodstock area

You got to try fogo de chao on Piedmont Road. It is one of my all time favorite. A little expensive, but worlh it. Just go there on an empty stomach.
