~And may I add, lmao, to be "gagged by a spoon" would be a first. Gagged by other...nevermind--lol. And NO I am not into that. I am a Taurus and my throat is very sensitive. ~Haha
I've heard that so many times one should be able to visit any lake seven days a week and see a thousand little kids with zero swimming skills being thrown off the back of boats by their loving fathers.
The most misused adverb often for emphasis. Literally should be used to describe something that actually happens or exists, not to be confused with figuratively, as this is the complete opposite.
"I literally died of embarrassment" "Really? So how is the reincarnation going dipshit ?"
"It's literally raining cats and dogs out here" "You must be one scratched up motherfucker

1. When people say "I could care less..." The expression is really "I couldn't care less." The other is completely the opposite.
2. This relates to sportscasters, who probably say more idiotic and moronic things in a day than we might say in a lifetime. The one that gets me is when sportscasters are reporting on a team's record, they will say that a team is "X number of games over .500." For example, if the Braves' record in 80-60, they will say that the Braves are "20 games over .500." This is just flat out mathematically wrong. With an 80-60 record, the Braves have played 140 games. A .500 record would be 70-70. Thus, in the example I have given, the Braves are in reality "10 games over .500." But sportscasters do this all the time. It's a little thing, but when I hear it day after day after day sometimes I think my head is going to explode.
"It is what it is." I absolutely despise this phrase of hopelessness and surrender to the status quo. Might as well say "Who Is John Galt?" When someone says "It is..." I say something like "You could change that if you wanted to change it."
"It's Not Fair..." No crap, Captain Obvious. Most of the time the imbalance is due to missed opportunities and lack of effort by the lesser party. An example would be how People go to the same high schools (opportunities) but have varying careers, family sizes, other measures of success when they get together for reunions

"This is a true story". When someone says that, I honestly believe they tell me this part is a true story because the rest of the stuff they are saying is 100% bullshit.
