in light of all that is going on ive considered going from indy to agency...though ive never worked for one so just wondering what the differences are? (besides obviously screening and the avail of clients) and if there is a preference for the gentlemen'?? any help would be appreciated thanks

How much work are you willing to put into establishing your brand/reputation etc.

As an indy, you need to set up all ads, screen own clients including deciding who is in or out, decide own hours, own what you offer, and of course get all the rewards/risk.  Many indies tell me the phone / email is the worst part of the new experience, that and the calendar control to screen out the time wasters/jerk clients

As a agency rep, you work thier ours, their clients, and in a some cases have to offer what they expect.  You may be limited to only outcall/incall.  Your rates are fixed (generally) and you will need to participate in the agency revenue sharing program.  Also with an agency, you will have girl drama potential because many ladies might share same location/client group.  On the good side, most of the clients have been weeded out from wasters to real participants and they handle all the BS for you.  Plus, you usually have a very steady flow of customers.  In Atlanta there are several premium agencies so you have an advantage here.

I think the key to your decision is how much will you put into making your brand a success and will you do the right things to build up a strong group of clients.

Most ladies who are successful longterm start with an agency and then after establishing their brand and client base move to be an independent.

Agency owners are smart folks and any lady could learn from them... IMHO

The only problem is you do not get to pick out who you see.
and there is more people in and out of the place  could be a problem.

scheduling, screening, and presumably travel arrangements.  Often, when a client arrives on the site and calls for room number it's the assistant who gets the call.  How much the assistant gets of the 'take' versus how much an agency take is totally unknown to me.

One other thing no one's mentioned is that, unfortunately, agency's are more likely to be targeted by LE simply because of more providers/clients as possible targets from a singel investigation.  Less incentive for LE to go after a single indie provider.  Just a thought.

Now ya see... Ive a different take on that.. From an officers mouth. They go after Indi's more as thats where the danger is. A girl by herself in a room. You would not believe the amount of unreported rapes, robberies and assaults that happen. That usually does not happen when you have others with you in the apartment. They feel like theyre protecting lone women from those dangers. Agencys that know how to behave and schedule correctly and safely usualy have no problems unless you have neighbors calling and complaining.. But, that is as I said.. IF the agency knows how to behave and doesnt have 12 girls running in and out the door all day long, along with the clients and the tell tale bottle of water LOL.

ok so now im really going to probably sound amateur at best but agencies use apartments for incalls?? so much to consider...but i do appreciate all the help thanks all

"Is this another fable of great agencies with top notch management finds, nurtures and produces top notch considerate, creative and service orientated providers?   Another example of lead by example?  Do they deserve thanks from all of us?  A moan from most of us... is yes, yes, yes…

There are many who passed this right of passage, acceptance and continued success for us and themselves.  So to this Coca-Cola Cowboy (caffeine and sugar in them stuff makes me want it now) and generation,  who is this indy; recognize this classy agency.   Help us now with making this fable come true for us sooner.

Silent gratitude isn't very much use to anyone.
