I'm amazed. I have read a post from time about TER getting reviews approved and posted quickly...

...but it's incredible. My last two reviews have been approved and posted in minutes. I submitted one last week. I hit submit, got a drink, and saw it had been approved and posted already. It couldn't have been more than 10 minutes. Tonight I wrote one, hit submit, went for another soft drink, and my review was already posted. Again couldn't have been more than 10 minutes probably 5.

I haven't seen anyone else mention this so have I just been lucky?

I've had a couple like that.  I've also had some where they mostly used the whole 72 hours.  Just a luck thing I think.   bigdell

I just posted my first review last night and was pleasantly surprised to see it was approved today. I figured it would take atleast 48 hours. Perhas they just happen to be on a reading spree? I won't complain though. ;)

In minutes sometimes but usually it takes a day or so.
Maybe when the millennial staff is working they go right up.

I usually submit them late at night (I like the "event" to be fresh in my mind) and often they are approved the next morning.  I have had one that took 3 days.  I haven't had one approved in minutes though.  But I'm not sure if the TER fairies/elves/gremlins work around the clock?...

Plus the approvers have a lot to read with my reviews.  

I use a lot of words.  

Just in case you guys haven't noticed.

Sometimes I even use hundreds of words.  As has been pointed out to me.  On several occasions.  Hundreds!  Can you imagine?  What the human mind is capable of?

My reviewes get posted within 24 hours. I don't stick around long enough to see when exactly they get approved. It has to do with your status in the community. I am newer, so I assume that the mods have to read through my reviews before they get posted. I am sure that there are thousands of other reviewers who have the same status as mine and the mods to reviewer ratio is low so it takes time. None of my reviews have even taken the full 40-72 hours though.
